This is kind of like airguns

If you factor start up costs and then relative cost per shot...

A lot of people do use the term
"Shoots like a Laser" in this form.
My .22 cal Zelos with the reg set at 2,700 , and the hammer spring turned in 4 turns eats air like the Cookie monster eats cookies , so I had to go with a 500 cc bottle to get 40 shots with the 28 grain HP slugs but man I swear it Shoots like a laser , and hits hard as hell. I never shot a drone yet lol.

I'm not sure if the zelos has a big enough pelenium but I was just talking about the magazine with another member and he measured the depth for me.. assuming that he measured everything correctly, the magazine will handle the JSB 34 grain beasts.. it will also handle the H&N and Zan 40 grain slugs that I have in 0.217.. I wonder if it has enough juice?
let me know if you happen to try them, just curious.

I must not have enough fps, I don’t seem to get the cool red effect.

If you open up the ports inside it could definitely shoot 34gr above 900fps, not sure that it would do that with 40gr, but the .25 definitely would.

If you shoot lead that fast, it will transition into vapor,

Do remember when you shoot a shot you also sort of have to add the speed of our little sphere, and it is spinning and going thru space at not insignificant speeds.
I did some gunsmithing for a guy who's hobby was reloading and was involved with his "ultimate shooting platform".

He was taking 30-06 brass and necking it down to .22 caliber. He had problems with jacketed lead bullets vaporizing and ended up machining them out of solid brass. Think I still have a couple of those monsters in a box somewhere.

I did see him explode a couple of crows at extremely long range - they just turned into a cloud of feathers.

The things people will do for bragging rights eh?

Cheers!

I think that every gun shoots like a laser... for a certain range.

That range could be measured in inches, feet or yards. 😆

Found them...

First is a normal 30-06
Second .22 caliber jacketed bullet
Third and fourth with brass bullets

You need to add 2 drops of RED dye into your fill port before airing up, then you shake it 10 times in each direction North, South, East and West. You will know if you done this correctly because your fill port will have a red glow to it! Take the weapon of "SAFE" and pull the trigger and say "PEW, PEW PEW" and whatever you are aiming at will fall over dead!

If all of that doesn't work, then your air rifle is defective, and you need to buy another one!

Wouldn’t that be a warranty issue?
