Resources N50 Rules Updated

Lou,

I went to the N50 Web site today. I could not locate the new rule changes that apply to ‘excluded RF factory rifles.’ I did see something about Annie’s ( I have a 64 MPR 64 action and a match 1907 pro class 54 action that has a Tuner) in that excluded list. I navigated the site and could not find the excluded factory rifle list.

Can you clarify if I can or can’t use my two Anschutz .22 LRs for N50 matches? FWIW - I have been using both rifles for practice N50 card target shooting since I joined N50 in 2021.
I use the 64 MPR for Sportsman and the 1907 for Pro class.

Also, I really don’t understand why the factory rifles are excluded. What’s the issue with using these brands?

Thanks, Tom
Hi Tommy, Factory excluded list is at the bottom of the Rules page. Your Annies are good for Sportsman and Pro.
Any Annie is too good for Factory Class :).

Ok, thanks for clarifying Lou. I need to read up on factory class excluded rifles, so I understand why some brands are excluded.

In the case of FX and with the multitude of barrel liners available, it would be difficult to police all the different FX liners used in FX guns, so we would rely on the honor system.
One way to police and determine which FX liner and caliber of the original OEM setup would be to see a accompaning receipt of the rifle from the dealer of the sale. All dealers keep a electronic history of purchases by customer. Anything short of that would be speculation.
