Discovery HT 6-24x44 sfi elevation turret frozen

Scope was tracking fine this afternoon when I was sighting in a gun earlier this afternoon. I take a break and go back to make some adjustments and my elevation turret is frozen. I’m trying to figure out why this happened. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

A hammer will fix it.

It seems like it's in the turret lock. Most of them have a couple of screws you can remove to lift it off. I bet the lock pin fell out of the knob.

Try and remove the top allen screw and then you should be able to remove the turret cap and see if there are more screws that need tightening or see what is misaligned or.....

I did that and there’s no it other screws. My windage is working fine. Elevation was tracking properly I bottomed it out and made one whole rotation of the turret up. I took a break from shooting and go back to make and adjustment and can no longer make elevation adjustments. I’m trying to figure out what I wrong. Was working fine one minute and frozen the next I’m sure it’s something I did wrong just want to know what I did any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a bummer! Discovery Optics do have a lifetime warranty no receipt needed...it's just that you will not have a scope till they diagnose and fix or replace.
