I’m new to pcp n just found airgunnation. I purchased a Airforce condor in .25. I’m having a hard time getting consistent at 100yds. I’ve tried quite a few slugs n some pellets. I’m looking to hit pigeons outs to 100. Any help and pointers will be greatly appreciated
go for a low wind day, early is best to avoid rising air heat spots, and id use a heavy 'pellet' like a 33 .. get her cookin over 950 and it should do purdy good😋 .. id be looking at a graph in a ballistics app to, to see where to best sight it, then maybe presight some markers in the area so you know where youre at .. somethin as small as birds its varying a couple inches every 10 yards past 60 or so ..
You've come to the best place for good information and good people! Just to gain some knowledge on what you're trying to accomplish, do you have a chronograph to check velocity and change tunes around?
Yepper on the chronograph. I have a huben power reg with 50cc plenum. I have powder burner experience. Some of the same principles cross over but this condor is starting to make me question my shooting ability

24 inch. At 100 the slug has better accuracy than the pellet so far

I can only help by saying NSA (Nielsen Specialty Ammo) is the most consistent most accurate ammo I have found for my big bores (.457 & .357). Every batch over the last 5-6 years is packed great, ships fast and is priced right.
I’m hoping to progress to a 357 in the future so good to know thanks

Suggestion on a good long range pellet to start with
I can't say for 100 yards, I am limited to 40-50 yards. And each gun seems to like a specific pellet.

Zan BR100 are my most consistent .30. But JSB Diablo and Vortex Strike do well in a couple rifles
Jsb Monster 28.55, JTS 25.39 and H&N Barracuda in .25. The Barracuda is probably the best average across all of my .25.
H&N Barracuda Match in .22, best pellet by far.

My Talons and Condor get High Flow Valve, Heavy Spring and 90/95 gram hammers.

The AliExpress Valves are hit and miss. The Trajectron.com high flow valve is more expensive but works.

Springs I source from AliExpress 1.8x25x100 for .22 and 2.0x25x100 for .25.

The hammers I source from Trajectron.com.

I buy a bunch of the little parts like angled bottle mount, cocking knob and moderator adapters from Trajectron. They ship DHL (from India) so they get here in 4-5 days after shipping. The angled bottle mount or Cricket drop block are needed for using the Acecare 1.1L Fat bottles.

Playing with bigger plenums now. Not a lot of data yet, that .25 only has a 12" barrel and the 24" are backordered. Huben Power unregulated U valve, Shan Bao 20CM 3000psi aluminum tube and the regulator half of a Cricket Z-Valve. The tubes are M28x1.0 and the regulator is too. They come with a M28 to M18 adapter. Tube hits the frame so a M18 extension is needed.

If you get the cricket max with the 50 cc plenum the plenum comes off n fits on the z drop unit
