N/A Blessing in disguise?

Could these tariffs be a blessing in disguise for American airgun manufacturers and a few other nations .and is it possible for these companies to say ,drop all guns 10% off retail .could a company corner the market and still make nice profit while satisfying consumers?? I know probably a pipe dream.
I own mostly Airforce brand pcp..That being said they choose to use german barrels..They will need to use A USA made barrel like ER Shaw or Green Mountain barrels to name a few.. I used to work at ER Shaw barrels in Pittsburgh Pa. The steel used for the barrels comes from the steel mills in pittsburgh pa..My lother walther .510 barrel was super rough,,the ER Shaw,Green Mountain Barrels, make the same or better quality.. For us with PCP, our air source for under a $1000.dollars is all chinese.. A american made compressor or booster even used are $3500.00..ahhh I can,t afford a compressor that cost more than my car..

many of the parts american airguns are made with use foreign parts... raw materials also... so the price is going up no matter what. doing my best not to be political.

Most people are surprised when they find out that "made in America" might only mean ASSEMBLED in America. Parts themselves might be outsourced.
True dat. I do wish it was more like automotive in this respect. Every new car on the dealer lot will have on the Mulroney sticker the percentages of the cars origin to include parts and assembly.
My new Tesla is truly an American car, what did not come from the USA was Canada and Mexico. Less than 5% if memory serves was from other than USA, Mexico and Canada.
