M257 with 5 round mag and 3000 psi fill. Accurate and relatively short. Checks a lot of boxes. Rich @ Airgun revisions is fantastic to deal with.

Same. I lucked out and got a fantastic deal on a m357 from Rich. I almost bought this gun a couple weeks ago but I had just pulled the trigger lol on a aea m457. The m257 was on Amazon for something like $729 after taxes. They only had 2 available. Looking forward to following your threads.

What slugs are those? I got an akc 257 i have played a little with. I get 9 regulated shots from 4500psi. 70g high arcs run 950fps and 80g ldc boatail griffons run 890.

They are 257420 70 gr from arsenal mold. Shoot lights out but a tad behine the Griffin 68 hpbt.

Yeah the ldc griffs dont look like a convenient home cast i could duplicate. Sizing properly has to go a long ways though for this type of slug shooter. Thing sure is loud though. The akc conversion did eliminate the banjo ping.
