How to cool a cs4 or cs4-i, even better than just bleeding the air pocket.

Will add this inline to confirm coolant flow.

Is it louder than a Yong Heng yet?
SS, if you’re referring to my Gx the external fans don’t add any noise above the unit itself.
The fans are not very powerful but being the head temperature is so low I have no need
to improve. I’m going to add a water temperature probe also.

Dang Blackdog, looking good! you could enter that into a contest-Pimp my Pressor and for sure a winner.
Got some new parts to go on… haha .
But please don’t put me in the category of worrying about the life span of my compressors. I was keeping busy while immobile during the winter. Another poster had a computer fan and radiator and I just thought it was a cool haa project.
Mostly cheap Aliexpress parts. So now I’m adding a larger reservoir and pump.

Rotated my CS4-i today. Took me longer than 20 minutes and I spilled way more than a teaspoon of coolant.

While running the pump checking for leaks I rotated the assembly right and left. Was surprised to see a lot of air bubbles in the top tube from the radiator to the holding tank when rotating. Oddly in one direction only. My fan power cable was long enough so I did not have to reposition the fan on the radiator. I did have a minor wire/connector clearance issue with the connections on the bottom of the internal power supply. Had to bend the connection lugs on the power supply circuit board to gain clearance.

Have not used the compressor other than in my air conditioned shop to fill a Ghost so water temp had not gone above ~97 degrees f. Gun is full right now so I will have to go out shooting so I can fill it again to check post mod water temp.

just did the change to mine. super easy to do. my fan had plenty of wire to not need to flip it like some others. Temps are definitely lower...guess time will tell how well it works....
What were your before and after temperatures? Just curious. I have not used mine since I did the mod so do not have an after temp yet.
