so there was alot of hype on the Macavity arms rifle last winter and now ...nothing???? has anyone bought one ? looking at the sniper with higher capacity. havent heard much either about the stoeger? looking for a very light hunter thats very light. was considering the pinty.......but too many issues.any recomendation greatly appreciated thanks .

if you were looking at the pinty.. don't bother.. just get the real thing..I don't believe per caliber there's any PCP guns close to the power level of the airforce line..
I have had a Condor 22 caliber and a Condor SS 22 caliber.. they punch some serious power, approaching 22lr especially with 40 grain zan slugs..
the SS is good all around, the regular Condor you will have to use the ring lock kit and the 0.123 orface if you want to be under supersonic with regular pellets.. but it will average 300 fps across the board over the SS .. the main difference is the SS is 18 inch barrel with built in moderator and the regular Condor is 24"barrel and it definitely needs a moderator unless you want 22lr noise level

Read MOhunter's post re: Stoeger Scout about 20 posts down from yours. Seems like a very light gun.
