What springer did you shoot today?

Took 2 shots all week and 2 black squirrels down. Today finally back on the range with the newest HW77 .20. View attachment 558373Flawless gun. Crow.
I am always seeing your pictures with what looks like a Protektor shooting rest. apparently set backwards to the orientation for which it was designed. Curiosity got the best of me, why? I have what looks like an almost identical bench setup, except have my stable table covered with a small. thick canvas tarp. Since it all has to sit out in the open as I do not have a covered porch or patio, when not shooting I cover my front rest and a leather rear bag with a rectangular or oval small galvanized tub then another tarp over that for some padding then a large fabric cover designed for a larger barbecue grill, It takes a couple of minutes to uncover to use and to recover when done, but in several years none of the parts underneath have gotten wet or damaged in any of the the storms or heavy rains..

Are you talking the top head needs to be spun 180 deg? If so, I found the handle got in the way.
A I don’t pivot the rest as much I do the table.
The 48 yd. range I’m working on now is 25 yds. to the left of main range. I have to pivot the table, which is an auto body function now.
‘My cover is too thick, moving blanket folded 16 times.
‘I think my top is Red Oak, which is the last wood I would choose for outdoors. Hopefully it’s white. Under the yellow rag under plastic I’m getting a light stain from moisture. Have to keep covered, wind drives the rain in.

Just got my weather vein fixed on Friday. Tree hit in storm, smashed in 8 pieces. Can’t believe the gun survived, could sell for new. Ha ha. Crow

I’m so amazed the union of the metal to the wood survived. Love the looks of your rifle. BSA is such a cool name.
‘Never forget back in the 60’s everyone had Honda 70’s and 90’s. My buddy Neil, only child got a BSA 250. Man was he king. Neil had the only Crosman 2240 .22 cal. pumper as well. Crow
I would have bought this old BSA even if it didn't work , Lucky for me it is rebuilt new seal and some grease . up to original specifications . 550 FPE

when we used to camp , Audrey made a shower curtain into a table top cover by sewing elastic around a cut to size / shape for 4x8 picnic table .

I was going to shoot this in our monthly FT match today but the weather decided otherwise, which means I'll have to wait until next month to demonstrate how not to be successful at FT. But, I did shoot one pellet at home...

Both of these stocks are amazing! If these rifles shoot even half as good as they look...

I haven’t shot any of my airrifles from the standing position since moving from the bush. So for poops and giggles today I grabbed my Benjamin Titan from the safe measured out 10 meters and adjusted the parallax from 25 meters to 10. Nothing more. And here’s the result, 10 shots. While not very good, poor really but this soon to be 71 year old, god willing is relatively happy with the outcome. At least I got all ten on paper😁
