Bought some fx slugs to try in my .22 edgun, they fit very tight and actually blow the bolt open when fired. H&N .218 shoot perfectly. Anyone else with Edguns have this issue with FX HYbrids?
Yup. Griffin slugs are awesome. A 1" 5 shot group at 100 yards is literally easy.
This is really important. The cycling feels so smooth at times it’s as if I am unsure that there was a pellet or slug in the chamber after pushing the cocking arm forward. The catch is at the end of the stroke you must listen for the “click” to be sure that whichever part rolls across the carriage catches and closes the bolt completely. That last little push is subtle, but an important step.Make sure the gun "clicks" then the bolt will not fly open. This is the only downer about hybrids.
