I can confirm that accuracy with the NSA slugs had become very bad with my gun as well. To the point that I haven't wanted to go to the local range because I caculated that 100 yard groups would measure in inches. I now have NSA 20.5s and I'm tuning this airgun for them. I had over 60fpe for 3x shots but I moved on to a 1129.6fps for 5x shots, 10fps spread tune and that's a bit over 58fpe. I've since been tuning it around 1110fps and got a crazy 13 x shots over a 14fps spread.

I put a choked .177 LW barrel in my Talon-P, a few days ago. This rifle was setup for .257 slugs @ 161fpe. It wouldn't shoot the .177 slugs well with the choke so i removed it, crowned it and now it shoots both 13.43gr Knockouts and NSA 15gr slugs very well. This is so even though the 13.43's...

Thank you for the sage advice. You're right. I've avoided the fill probe for no other real reason except that I've read others say that it's problematic. I do like saving money too, where I can. I do appreciate your help in overcoming this whole thing with your excellent insight!

Fill probes are just another thing that I might forget when going to the range or the field and though I've never lost one yet that might be because I've never had a pcp that used one.
