I decided to replace the grease pot diaphragm in my CS4-i, because I was finding it inside of the greasepot all folded up and wrinkley. After a few tries with various hole punches and 1/32" thick buna nitrile rubber sheet...I found that 27mm is the proper diameter and I guess 1-1/16" would work...

I have a question about the bores thru the magazine. Are the bores straight thru (no taper) or is there a slight taper to them...like wider at the rear where the base of the slug sits, and a little narrower at the front where the nose of the slug sits?

cool. Probably not silicone orings tho because they are too squishy. But teflon 90durometer is really tuff stuff. And maybe try a 104 size for fun lol.

Specifically for #77, I would buy em and try em...and add teflon to the materials to try, along with viton and cast PU. Just buy them and try them. Dont try to rule them out right now. The fact that some of them have broken into pieces to me means that they may be succeptible to the oils...

thank you for that OP. thats very interesting to me about having to replace #77 3 times. Usually that would indicate some kind of design flaw like wrong material. Have you inspected one of the failed orings for failure mode? Maybe try Viton or cast PolyUrethane for a different material.

the best that I can get from the Tuxing questions/answers is: "tetraflouro + powdered copper".

I have asked about this material on the Amazon questions area of Tuxing but so far getting the run around with a response that states they are made of powdered copper. I will let yall know if I can get any more info out of them. Currently I'm awaiting a response where I said that I realize...
