And I'll expand, the R7/HW30 is at the lower end of the power spectrum. I really can't fathom a heavier pellet than an 8.4g regardless of tune. 7.33-8.4 is the spectrum for that platform. And it can be an absolutely fantastic shooter in that range.

My observation is there's a sweet spot for velocity/accuracy and most rifles are happiest in that range. Maybe 750-800fps matching pellet weight to power plant? Shorter range 10m being lower. Your mileage may vary......

10m range in the shop so there's a few things there to play with. The R7 is more often the grab and go to do some quick outdoor plinking. It is a neat rifle. Hopefully getting it sorted out.

Thanks. It's not decked out like a most of my fleet but makes a great shop rifle. I bought it with the sleeve and cover and tuned it up with an ARH kit and Vortek piston seal. Previous owner thought it could be a Paul Watts set up. I wish I knew. Just trying to make it shoot to its potential!
