Here is part 3 of my coyote#9 hunt. It was shot in the head at 65 yards with my FX Impact MK2 with 25gr slug. Enjoy.

True enough. I retrieved my trail cams today and saw one of the three coyotes showed up looking for food. You are right. Unless the farmer stops using the new pit to bury the dead cows, then this spot will attract more coyotes. I will keep an eye out for a used Impact 30. Thanks.

@Vetmx. Thank you for the insight. I agree that I shouldn't mess with my Impact MK2 since it is shooting so well with the 25gr slugs. It makes sense with the 30 calibre upgrade for coyotes. I guess it depends on how many coyotes I would shoot in the future to justify me owing a designated...

Ya, I might have to do just that to buy another gun, lol. I will see how my future coyote hunt goes. My last two coyote shots had not gone well as I couldn't find the body after two head placement shots with the 25gr slugs. It is extremely hard to shoot pass 100 yards even with .22 caliber...

Thank you for the suggestion. For the time being, I will try to shoot some heavier .22 slugs to see if I can get more power and accuracy. I am kinda reluctant to mess with my current setup with the 25gr slugs. I have great accuracy out to 100+ yards shooting starlings and doves at the moment.

I guess you are focusing on 100M target shooting with your setup. Nice to have accumulate parts over the years, so making changes to your setup is easy. I will do some tuning of my MK2 with heavier slugs than the 25gr that I have gotten good results with since I still have some left. Are you...

Yes, I agree with the ammo price of the .25 calibre. That was why I never purchased a 25cal PCP before. All my PCP are .22 except my Airarm S510 in .177. I already have lots of different brand and weight of .22 ammo from testings in the past. It will be expensive either way if I venture down...

I though I could just buy a .25 calibre liner and swap out the .22. Then buy the probe and magazine. I remembered reading your 100mm extension mod. That was brilliant. Yes, everything is expensive when it comes to FX. It is a great platform, but pricey. Thank you for your feedback.
