I've owned a few FX rifles, IMO, pretty finicky, need to handle with kid gloves. Never any problems with my Veteran .25 Compact or my RTI P-2 Basic.

I found a used Bauer for sale through one of the local dive shops about 7 years ago. I paid about $2200 for it at the time. It's really heavy! I replaced the carburetor last year--but man-man! Great to have dependable air when ever you need it.

I am pretty sure there are other members here that own Tract optics. Maybe they will see this and chime in. Another consumer direct company that offers quality scopes is Maven. But I think for the money you can't beat German glass for $500. The Maven $500 equivalent to the Tekoa is Chinese.

If you bump your budget to $500, I'd suggest the Tract Tekoa. They are on sale right now, the glass is incredible. SFP scope which is good for casual plinking and pesting. I was so impressed with the scope, I bought two. My second choice would be the Arken ELP 4-16. FFP, though. Great...

Check with Utah Airguns. If they are coming to the US market, UA would be the first place to get them.

Arken and Athlon makes several scopes that will focus down to 10 yds.

Is your Air Rifle a pcp or a traditional break barrel? If it's a break barrel you will need a scope that can handle that. It would help if you list the dollar amount of your scope investment.

There has been an explosion of cottontails in Central Minnesota this year. Are there cycles in cottontail populations? Nice shooting by the way. I've yet to try out the GK1 platform yet. Looks like fun!!

Just a heads up on that scope from Tract. The focusing knob is locking, you have to pull it out to adjust it and then you can push it back in..
