glad you prefer your L2 over the K1, i had an L2 in .22 and it never performed as good as my K1 in .22 in my type of hunting, but you know how i goes.......opinions 🇺🇸
i have had 3 K1's and none of them had problems with the loading lever popping open.....but, it will do what you say about "empties the tank" when you forget to close the lever after you load the mag and pull the trigger
for Huben guns and accessories and many other things i got a few items from them in the past and lately a new K1 fill probe. there located in Covington Ga. check them out 🇺🇸
i have shot these out of my 'barn gun' at 600fps. i have had the same results as you with no pass-thru's. have you ever tried H&N match green 5.25gr lead free wadcutters ? there kinda pricey but no roof metal damage or lead deposits in the cattle feed (y)
i have taken many hogs with my K1 .22 @ 72fpe. but, i'm always off the ground either in a ladder stand or my combine's platform while harvesting corn. you gotta be brave or just plain crazy to be standing on the ground when shooting anything at feral hogs...... (y)
just got back from doing some fence mending and seen these guys on my cardinal feeders. K1 is always just a grab away in the barn office just for these pest critters. this type hunting is called farm equipment preservation and theft pesting. 🧑🌾 🇺🇸
