Airgun Technologies AGT Vixen or BRK Ranger/Atomic XR?

If you've narrowed it down to two then I can't see the issue here?

Whichever one enters your home, we all like to see pictures.
You know it‘s never that simple, adding the Pathfinder to the mix, gives the OP more options… We’ll know soon enough what they OP decides. Either way its a win for him…

Regulator issues (seems like he eventually got it fixed, but I’m not spending $1300 on a project):

Fill port issues: https://airgunforums.co.uk/threads/brococks-ranger-xr-177-qc-nightmare.93038/

Safety switch, can’t find the link right now, but know I came across a video of some guy complaining about it, or it wouldn’t have been an issue in my mind.

You’re starting to sound a little defensive. I’m not impugning you or calling your experience into question. I’m just interested in everybody’s opinion, if they have experience. Thank you for yours.
There is no PCP manufacturer has a 100% perfect build percentage especially mass produced PCP's although I wish it were so! Luis is just pointing out that Brocock's are pretty well regarded as far as reliability and manufacturing. It's like purchasing a Toyota, most purchase them for their outstanding reliability but there will be a few cars that do not hold up to that standard of excellence unfortunately. I do understand your questions as we spend a lot of hard earned money on these. That's what this forum is about, sharing knowledge!

You’re spot on, the Pathfinder has entered the mix, lol. Fortunately, I have till September when the season starts to save make up my mind (and save some money). Thanks for everything!

I’ve owned two Atomics and they are fine little guns. Very well built and accurate. The only issue I had was filling mine too fast hardened the fill port O-ring and caused a leak. It was an easy fix and a lesson learned the hard way. I really can’t fault the rifle or platform. I have since sold them both.

I now have a Vixen .22 compact and absolutely love it. In fact I bought a back-up Vixen but have never needed it. 🙄 Last week we just shot a few pigeons over 13,000. I like it over the Atomic because it’s lighter, has a much better trigger, well built, not pellet fussy, gets a lot more shots and it’s very accurate. I’ve not experienced any POI shifts resting mine on the plastic shroud guard. Mine are detuned to shoot 580 FPS because we primarily hunt pigeons in fiberglass roofed dairy barns so I needed to run a very low velocity so we didn’t punch holes in the roof on the occasional miss, which is VERY rare. The best part of this rifle and tune is I get 140+ shots per fill out of the tiny air bottle.

Check out Airgun Retirees YouTube channel to see the Vixen in action.

No, not in my opinion. YMMV though.
I agree - no need for a depinger on the Vixen. I don't even see (hear) the need for one on the Uragan, only on the Vulcan 3 as far as AGT guns go (IMHO).

And regarding the quality of Brocock/BRK guns as questioned by the O.P., I have had many and still own some (mostly Sniper XR's). I feel that the Brocock build and design quality is right up towards the very top of airgun manufacturers, especially since their partnership with Daystate a few years back.
