Beeman Beeman 2027 Question or 2

Hi Guys

Looking at the Budget PCP Pistols right now and I have a quick question or 2 for those that own one of these little 2027's

The 1st question at hand is about the bolt, once the gun is cocked and you slide the bolt back into the breech is loose and slopp, or does it lock in place and stay there?

Question 2 is the breech metal or plastic ?

Thank you
-Buddy

I haven’t shot mine in a long time, as I recall the bolt does pop up from time to time. The breach is metal. It not one of my favorite pistols to me it to long & front heavy, just isn’t conformable in my hand.
Thank You for that information.

My fear going down into the budget guns is I will be disappointed after shooting mostly Extreme High End the last few years.
With that said I would almost like the challenge of trying to get a budget gun to shoot decent... Hell maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to buy another gun.. 👀

I have 2 of the 2027's and a 2028. The 2027 has been very accurate and after a spring change gets about 50 good shots per fill . I put a barrel from Barra on it a 19 incher and at around 2200 psi I get over 900 fps pretty amazing for a 50cc tube on a $120.00 gun. I kept the other one stk in case I ever need parts.
the 2028 had a bad barrel but Because of Ransomy Beeman replace the barrel and it has shot great since. I also have the 1357 and 1358 that also shoot great Those got bought from Manno for $108.oo for the first and $118.oo for the second all of them got a spring change to improve shoot count from the cliff dive they started out as
