What discipline, caliber, distance, purpose, etc. What's best for some might not be suitable for you & vice versa. Good luck in your search, either way.

.25 for all around use, carrying and hunting small pests with, range up to 100 yards and some bench
Good for carrying into woods and shooting pests up to 100 yds. Little bench shooting also with a friend who has a FX Impact M4. I guess a good all arounder. Prefer to have a .25 cal.Another vague "What's the Best " (sort of) question

My Atomic 22 has been great. Notos on a budget, just not as refined. A little larger, I like my P35 and Bullshark.

You're already familiar with the Impact so why not go that route with an Impact Compact? I love my .25 Compact. Threw a larger bottle on it for more shots.

A .25 compact with slugs can get frustrating because what your gun could potentially like might need more runway. A .25 compact on pellets can be quite fun and lethal out to 100.

But is it dependable, Thats 365 Not 3 weekends ,,, I really like the way it looks , Do not like all the Orings! In the beginning shops stopped selling the impact 100% came back for warranty work , Have they fixed it? And FX is one of the best in the PCP world on advertising.. And they spend big money on it , Got a few video guys you could ask, But I am not naming names,, I alway said if FX would pit all there advertising money in developing there guns they would have some of the best made , Maybe at a lower cost, Back in the old days I would say, (fire suit on) LOL

Lots of guns, many fine choices… I vote for the Ghost or Pathfinder XRs in .22 both of mine simply more accurate than I can hold. Good kills on small pests for me out to 80+ yards. Good luck in your search…
