Decided on a PCP...

Now, where to buy? I have been looking for a decent PCP. I have decided that an Umarex Zelos (22) would be a good "starter" PCP for me.

I've checked the Gun Deals web site and found that these can be purchased for about $400-$450 from some websites. Most others have them at around $600.

Has anyone had luck with any of these discount sellers? Their web-sites all look similar, which makes me cautious.

I appreciate any feedback you guys/girls have.

Thanks!
I bought mine for $420 from gun zone deals. It was there in 6 days I think and perfect.

I like the compactness of the Notos and did consider it but went with the Zelos & its 26" barrel to up my long-range game on the Ground Squirrels. Probably will still get a Notos down the road.

This great info everyone. What's the best moderator out there? My plan is to to use this for pest control at night (armadillos). I have a DNT ThermNight that I plan on mounting to this or an ATN X-Sight 4k.
I would probably look at the Donnyfl Sumo, Shogun, or Ronin if I had the $ to spend.

Awesome. I was looking a the Donny FL moderators. Wasn't sure what would be the best one to go with. These prices are much easier to deal with than the cost of Firearm suppressors.
With any of those three, all you should hear is the valve ping and the sound of your projectiles cracking armadillo skulls.

I have the Donny FL Ronin on my Blitz, very pleased, it really quieted the bark of the Blitz. Per their rec I am running the .25/30 Ronin it's plenty quiet and no baffle strikes. My P-Force could be quieter, I'll see if they have an end cap and share it with the P-force. Were it not for the airguns only bold labeling quality and strength wise you would think it a PB moderator. As the Brits say, very nice kit.

My P-force carbine does not have enough moderator, it's not bad but could be quieter. Prolly leave it alone for now. My P-Force has a date with my super Dremel. Being a retired dental guy it's electric motor and diamonds for the trigger job. I'll shoot the Blitz a little tonite and do that trigger job. I've worked up an awesome gun tripod. Just a little more tweaking, but I am using it tonite.

What caliber are you running? I see that they make .177/.22 and .22/.25 with .22 being the interchangeable caliber for either size. Are baff strikes common with .22 and .177/.22 moderator? I guess the .22/.25 would make sense to be on the safe side. I would think it wouldn't be as effective.

I've used Natchez quite a bit, they've always been solid for me.

I've got a couple Donnyfl, I like them, fit/finish is great. I haven't used any of the others on the market.

I'm relatively new to airguns (5yrs), so take the following for what it's worth..my experience is that a good/efficient tune makes a bigger difference than the moderator for sound suppression. If you're tuning it to be a hammer, moderator internal volume is your friend.

Fully agree, the Blitz needs a bigger can. The cyclic rate is crazy high, a 21 round mag dump takes about two seconds. The Ronin does a nice job, along with the built in shrouded barrel design. I've heard of issues running a can on the Blitz, my Blitz works exactly the same W/ or W/O the Ronin. Just quieter. Natchez is a very solid vendor, no worries they are on my good guys list. I ordered my Donny FL items direct.
