Despite, as Bill from Target Forge suggested, shooting amongst swirling, haunted winds emanating from an ancient Indian burial ground under our range (strictly a rumor and untrue) there were a couple of good scores last Sunday.
Bill wasn't just being paranoid about the shifting wind currents- it was challenging and those who could dope or guess better than others, rose to the top. And if the numbers weren't quite as high as the competitor expected, at least their enjoyment of the match was fulfilled.
One interesting note- we do allow slugs, (under 20 ft/lbs) and the top result was achieved using FX KnockOuts. I think there is still a lot to be learned about different projectiles and excellent marksmanship provided the results- there aren't any magic bullets (bad pun) but growing our understanding of the possible and beneficial is what we are all about.
62 possible (check out those flags and cords on some of the video)
Bill from Target Forge had his drone out for part of the match, stay tuned for a little aerial footage!
