Air Arms Does ARH (Maccari) produce full tune kits for Pro Sport/TX200 MKIII anymore?

Does ARH (Maccari) produce full tune kits for Pro Sport/TX200 MKIII anymore? Don't see any on his site and would like to tune my new rifles down to the 12fpe range with his quality parts. I've read reviews of TinBum and Vortek and I'd like to go with ARH parts if possible. Thanks for any help. .177 cal
Send Jim an email and ask, he'll respond.

He does have two different springs available though.

I bought both of the springs high power /low power and they don't even almost fit the stock guide they are really loose and worthless to me

Not sure if he makes them to fit the stock guides, you would have to ask him about that. I think he assumes most will make their own guides to fit his springs.

Make their own guides? Really? Kind of a stretch.....
Hardly for those who have a LATHE or know someone who does. There are a LOT of air gunners who do ...BTW
I've made north of a 100 at this point. BEST guide is one fitted to a spring in hand !!! as the tolerances of a springs coil I.D. bounces around too much to make guides as a generic fit :cautious:

I MAY have found a solution for you

The only issue is my Maccari Spring ID is 13.6mm vs the 14mm they sell. Any chance yours is exactly 14mm lol?

Probably best to get a custom made one

They are listed for the said gun so ought to fit. The springs you need to make guides for aren't listed as custom springs for a specific rifle. Oh well.

Who do you consider his competitor? TinBum? Vortek? Someone else? Seriously would like to know....if you don't want to post, please PM me.
I know you aren't asking me but imho, Maccari probably doesn't have a competitor. Sure there are other spring kits but Maccari has been doing this for a long time with a complete understanding of what does what and why.

This comes straight from Macarri's home page;

Please Note;

Our target audience is skilled gunsmiths and airgunsmiths. So we supply no instructions or advice on assembly, dis-assembly or exploded diagrams or "how to" books or files.

I prefer ARH's products, but he is less service oriented than Vortek, his primary competitor in the US. I've found Vortek to be very responsive, and Tom is willing to spend time on the phone answering questions. That said, I have also experienced more fitment and other (i.e., wrong spec product was shipped) issues with Vortek kits. I have a need for both of their products.

I remember when Jim Maccari had his “anything goes airgun forum” back in the early 2000’s. In addition to being really knowledgeable about airguns (specifically springers) he’s actually a really funny guy, with a wicked sense of humor. But he doesn’t suffer fools, so there was always a few people that got bent out of shape

He used to have FAQ page (maybe still does) that would answer many questions people had.

Going to be a sad day when he retires from the airgun biz.
