For sure. I think it will/would be interesting to have a sidecocker, I hear that you can really smash your fingers with them though.If you can get the 48 for only $10 more then that's the one I'd go for. I'd personally get it in .22 as it's a fairly powerful rifle and the bigger pellets are easier to load. Sidecockers and underlevers are a bit harder to load than break barrels.
Thanks for the welcome! Im most likely going to get an RWS 48, I have heard nothing but great things about them from reading reviews and forum posts. I have read that I will probably want a zero recoil mount for it though.Don t have experience with the Diana 34 but I do have it with a model 48, 52, and 54. The 48 is a good all around air rifle. If I was forced to pick just one it would be the RWS 48. The gun will shot 1 hole groups but I cannot.
