N/A How are you guys cleaning your bores

I use the patchworm kit. Works for me.
Agreed, with Ballistol and center-pierced 2" circular cotton patches. Use next smallest size insert than suggested by PatchWorm. Large size plastic straw helps get thru moderator, internal shroud baffle stacks often require smaller diameter straw. WM

I haven't cleaned mine since new accuracy hasn't fell off yet so I don't touch it
Pellet shooting spoiled me, didn't clean either, other than initial. Slug shooting scared me straight, regular cleaning required. Pellet accuracy eventually fell off, quick cleaning restored. WM

You won't find anything easier, use your favorite solvent lightly, simply use a paper towel to wipe/squeeze foam tip clean. Place rifle scope down, whip is stiff enough to get passed silencer if needed, can also work back and forth instead of single pass.

Ballistol pull through snake. Instead of bristles, it has three balls inside, spaced out evenly. And it works tremendously, i've cut both of the brass tips unmine, just because the space in the breech isn't wide enough and I don't need it.

I shoot felt cleaning pellets with clp and then dry thru mine since I have fx liners, even the 700mm slug gun. My old green mountain barreled mrod just gets cleaning pellets too, the crosmans just don't get cleaned until they won't hit. I have a complete shop sized coated rod cleaning setup for firearms that just wasn't necessary for my PCPs but gets used on the brass barreled benjamin 392(nylon or patches only)

Just what, exactly, makes it a pain, when using weed whacker line & patches. IF it's getting the line through the end of the barrel (going from breech to muzzle) put a lengthwise 2" slit in a drinking straw & slide it in the muzzle end before running your line through the barrel. Other than that I can't see what's causing you problems. I think MOST of us here use pull-through types. You can always get a cleaning rod & install a patch after sliding it all the way to the breech opening. I also have a snake but mainly for a quick clean in the field if ever needed.
