Crosman I guess im a pistolero now

Not much of a pistol guy, unless they're converted to carbine lol.

I had a bunch of parts laying around and decided to come up with this.

Pcp, running 550 fps on a 2000 psi fill and current spring. Have some better springs coming for it, hopefully break into the 600s with this 10" barrel. I've seen north of 20 fpe with this barrel, so shouldn't be too hard to achieve my goals.

Getting plenty of shots off the 100cc tube, and pretty quiet thanks to the shortened Prod shroud and air stripper. No baffles needed for now.

Trigger could be better since it's a single stage, but it's as light as I can get it. Maybe put a Prod trigger group on it some day if it proves worthy.

Drilled and tapped the breech for the metal iron sights I stole of a gun I can't even remember, as well as the front sight tapped to the shroud.

So far I'm holding quarter sized groups at 20 feet, so hopefully I will achieve my goal of squirrel hunting soon.

Maybe a nice set of zebrawood target grips to finish off? Need to repaint the grip frame too.

Is this one of those PCP conversion kits you can get from fleabay or amazon? Do you have a link? Neat looking setup man. Some suggest adding a bottle. I always like a pistol to be slim and trim that's easy to point and hold on target. Really like the way yours looks right now.

Thx

Yep I used one of these and might buy a couple more for carbine and pistol builds I have in mind.

Got my hammer spring set today. Went with the .042" wire and it's not doing 730s for 50 shots with 14.3

And doing 660s with 18.3 aea pellets for over 60 shots.

Way more efficient than I had thought it would turn out. Not too much louder than before due to less bounce. I will probably dial it back a bit to make it even quieter.

Next up will be some nice grips.

I like it!

This is why I love this forum. I had made a post about the bsa edge scope to put on this pistol. @wimpanzee offered to sell me his new in box one, but I wasn't sure about adding another $100 to this gun for the scope and the mount to get it on there.

He messaged me and said send me your address, and GIFTED it to me for Christmas!!! We really do have some outstanding people on this forum! The fact he's a fellow Missourian just adds to the cool factor 😎.

Here she is with the Edge 2x20 mounted up with a BKL-254.

I sighted in on the 7 yard basement range, and it's dead nuts with hades and polymags. I decided to try some Apolo 25.4s I had laying around, and they gave me this 10 shot group.

That's a big ass chunk of lead for a pistol, but im going to recenter the scope with these and try for a squirrel or some pest birds tomorrow. They also bring the report down considerably.
