I'm glad you find that comfortable but I would not. I have a Carm extra capacity magazine for my P35-25 that projects about 3/4 inch which I would guess is similar to your projection and it is quite uncomfortable. Not as bad a a stock FX magazine on the Impact I shot once (couldn't see through the scope) but still not what I want, especially in a gun in this price range.
At least until Airmaks makes some more Caimans I do not know of a "high end" bullpup I would find lefty friendly. But my P35s certainly are and I'm sure the very related Stoeger bullshark is too. The newer SPA M60b has a much bigger magazine but puts it right in the middle so it projects the same on both sides. Should work great for a lefty or a righty. FX could take a lesson.
Being a lefty is hard. Had to put the ST ambi cheek rest and adjustable butt plate on my Maverick to make it work for me. I’ve shot my friends M3 and with the mag placement being lower it wasn’t an issue for me to line up on the scope.
FX used to make very limited numbers of left handed bullpups. A buddy of mine had a very rare completely left handed Wildcat MK1.
I wish they still made a dedicated lefty bullpup. The Impact being very lefty friendly is cool but it's nice to have a rifle that feels purpose built for ya.
