Thought I saw online the Caldwell was recoil activated?? That would make it out for me. 600 for one that doesn’t calculate down range ballistics is out too. Glad I don’t need one for PB guns. Cheap fx pocket chrony it is.

Before I bought my Garmin, I contacted Caldwell and asked questions about it working with airguns. I got an email back that was not encouraging. It said that smaller projectiles, like pellets, could be problematic. Certainly not the, "heck yeah, it works" I was looking for.
The Garmin never misses a shot, so I'm happy with my choice.
