Western Airguns Mordax pcp!

It wont store mags but what a difference. Plenty of length and line of sight. The best thing is the adapter has a lock tab so you can pull the stock right off in a second. Obviously you can get a better stock. I just bought a cheap one to see if it worked. Yes its not made of metal but buckrail gives you 100% replacement guaranteed.View attachment 548916

The only thing I can think of is having a drop down adapter with a cf bottle like edguns. Question: You said you joined the mordax Facebook but I didn't see you. Im just making sure you haven't been blocked.
I joined under my real name on Facebook not my joke name on this site.

Maybe I’ll hold off looking for a Sidewinder Compact S for a bit just in case that rumor tons out to be true.

Thanks
I just called AOA to check on may order for my long strike kit for the Mordax .25. Logan (the lead technician ) told me the long strike kit only gives you 5-10 more fpe but doubles the amount of shots. I immediately cancelled my order

I have it in .30 (had mine converted two weeks ago) and I feel like it was worth it. Darren tuned it for me at ~155/160bar on the reg and I can shoot a full mag at full power (12 shots give or take 2-3 shots) before it comes off the regulator.

I’m happy with the power it generates.

It’s really fun to shoot, especially when my finger slips and it dumps a mag in 3 seconds. 🤩

The rumor is true. I called to cancel my long strike order and the salesperson said he hes seen the prototype. He said it's a drop down valve but doesnt know if they are selling the bottle too. He imagines they are but for now can only verify the valve. Hope that helps you.

Once that happens, really the only thing that that gun will be missing is a good magazine release system. I had a 30 Cal sidewinder that I converted to a 350 barrel it was kind of like a hornet Root dude you were looking at that one. I was going around and around for a long time about a good way to engineer a magazine release system that could be integrated into that thing that was just like a spring loaded slide release but had too much other stuff going on and never got around to it wouldn’t you know it. But yeah, if they could get that dialed, thing would be an ace.

And 1/8 BSP on the pressure gauge. That’s a must.

One other thing that I heard people talking about on this thread was with regard to concern about noise from blowout at the magazine, with this PCP that’s really not an issue. I was at Edgun West Wednesday or Thursday last week and Brian put a behemoth with five sections on a 22 that was turned up to about 150 bar and literally all you could hear was click click click click. No exaggeration. It was the same thing with my 30 caliber sidewinder, five section behemoth on that thing all you could hear was action, no blowout, the wind resistance from the slug, and Impact. But on the 30 caliber that was with a shroud, once I converted it to a 350 and there was no shroud It was a little bit of a different story. Still quiet, but not stupid quiet. On the Morax that Barrel housing looks really cool, but ultimately with a drop-down bottle adapter the smartest thing to do with that on a 25 or 30 caliber with a short barrel will be to have a blowback shroud. Inevitably the bottle is gonna be longer than the short barrel, so it will probably be a matter of the blowback section of the shroud after the barrel flushing out about with the end of the bottle to optimize quiet/shot count/compact balance.

Not necessarily man everyone has a different idea of what they’re looking for based on their specific application and taste and it’s across the board. It’s a super cool retro hand guard all blade runner lookin I dig it.
