Almost ready to start getting it dialed in. FX Impact M4 Sniper .30. I am still waiting on a few more parts for it. Donnyfl Emporer moderator, grip and AirMatksman Loki rail. Still need to buy a chronograph. So what great advice does everyone have for me?

Congrats. Only advice for you is to stock up on pellets or slugs, and have fun shooting it.

Have you shot it yet? How loud is it with the Donnyfl Emporer moderator? I'm really tempted in a similar set up, but I would need to keep it quiet

Have have not shot it yet. It was just delivered today. I am still waiting for a few more accessories to get here. I haven't received the Donnyfl moderator yet for this rifle. I have a .35 M4 and it stacks NSA slugs on slugs with the 93 grain .356, .357 or .358. but it doesn't like pellets much

Shoot it and dont mess with it for a bit, see what weight pellets it likes and let it break in before you start adjusting it to your prefered tune and pellets. Read as much as you can about it, watch lots of videos and if its shooting well leave it be.

Can any body explain how to change the barrels intrusion into breech? It's holding up my stud magazines from spinning I believe....

loosen a set screw and pull the barrel out a frogs hair. If the factory mags work I'd say its new mags issue. Be carful not to change the T/P alignment.

I would be really surprised if the DonnFL is going to be quieter. I found it to be the opposite. Please keep us posted about this.

Loosen the single barrel screw here, then ever so slightly pull the barrel out a smidge.
Note that the brass barrel adapter has 2 different air transfer ports. One for high flow (slugs & heavy projectiles), one for low flow. Each transfer port will have a notch to help ensure it’s lined up properly.
As others have said… just shoot it for a while before tinkering with the tune.

I would see that on my Maverick too, with any magazine if i just put the barrel on and let it go as far back as it can. so i now put a magazine in the rifle before i push the barrel back towards that acting as a stop. ( light push of course or the MAG would probably still bind )

I have been using a straight edge of some kind to make the transfer-port flush with the breech. Kind of a wonky design with the Maverick/Wildcat style mags being interference fit.
Congrats OP on your Impact. I like the copper color a lot, nice to break up the monotony. And just in time for Halloween!
