I just leave my probe in the hole with a rubber cap over it. Less chance of junk getting in there or losing the probe.

I know this an old post but do you have an update on how the Veyron scope is working out for you and how good it is or isn't?

It is a fine scope, priced well below its quality. I would 100% buy another one if I needed another 3-12 scope
