Because of wind, I have a helluva time trying to determine if the tensioning system does anything at all. Too many environmental influences.
I had just as good results by using o-rings on the outside of the barrel but inside the shroud To dampen vibrations.

I received my new barrel and going to go shooting today, going to shoot it with the standard barrel today and then install the new tensioning barrel and compare next week when I go shooting. I will let you know how that goes. if I have time, I might do the swap when I am out today.

Shot the Ghost with my new 28-inch slug barrel, with 15.89gn pellets, 15 shots through it. I did not sight it in, and it shot a nice little group at 35 yards. I did clean the barrel before Shooting but next weekend I’ll work on getting it dialed in a little better and tighter. Had my 23-inch 25 Cal barrel dialed in at 35 so I was surprised when I put the new barrel on that it was still holding pretty close to a good zero.
