Corby, I thank you for pointing me to an error in the Burris catalog — and helping me find another two scopes to put onto my Scope Specs Tables!
I have pored over scope catalogs and webpages to unearth all airgun suitable scopes within certain parameters — and Burris has almost never made it onto my Tables, because of their lack of 10y (or15y) minimum parallax (or their preference for capped turrets).
I looked again at their catalogs from 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 ➔ and none of them has this information, or has the
right information....
Same with their archived webpages: As recent as July of last year proclaim the minimum parallax to be 25y for the scope you show — not 10y. And their photo — to this day — shows a
capped turret, not an exposed turret as the actual scope you show.
Well, now I know. Thanks!
And I just discovered another error in the Burris publications:
The RT-15 3-15x50 and the RT-25 5-25x56 do not have a 25y minimum parallax, but a 15y parallax. The photo on the Burris webpage contradicts the specs sheet on their webpage, and a reviewer confirms that this must by a typo....
Go figure. Two more scopes for my Specs Tables.
