Tuning V I D E O / Turkish Tomahawk re barreled , gas rammed the works !

My Tomahawk will shoot dime size groups with JSB 18 gr pellets at 32 yds, its a squirrel killing machine. John in PA did a tune on mine in turn I gave him a extra .22 Tomahawk I bought when they clearanced them out, got luck and got 2 with super nice wood.
Gas ram would be pretty neat on one.

The one you built me in .20 is both beautiful and accurate. One of my favorite rifles. You are a excellent airgun smith my friend.
I'd love to have that Patriot of your. If it was .22 I'd buy it.

What’s wrong with the other barrels.. are they SNUG. ? Tight chokes. ? I would like to rebarrel one of my guns and need. Snug choked .20 cal.

The .20 LW barrel have minimum pellet to bore contact / not sure on the chokes I would have to see, its been a while since I looked at them are you wanting one with a choke I can check for you

Septicdeath above was the one I did with the O ring piston cap that turned out fabulous my elevation was I was getting 820 830 fps just outstanding/ great to here from you

Yes a choke. …. or snug all the way.. I only need 14 good inches but has to be at least 15 mm od if it’s 16 I can turn it down.

they are not snug they have minimal pellet to bore contact
what gun were you going to rebarrel ?

They are garbage then.. was gonna do a Longbow ..
but if stock from Lothar Walther has been bad, I might use a HW ,OR WAIT …

Good to see you on the forums. Mike To tell the truth I didnt even ask what he did, it shoots hard and with a solid thump..it buzzed like crazy before he messed with it..love the way these guns point and feel in your hand. It shoots JSB pellets with a SD of 3 fps or less.. Kodiak HP 18.1 gr with 4 fps SD. Quiet a few others under 6 fps SD. Mine is shooting around 17ft lb.Hi Dean

The Dime size groups at 32 yds is phenomenal, I mean WOW you could not ask for more/
I have Webley .22 Vulcan barrel just got from mike Baker if its a good pellet to bore fit Iam going to re do the last tomahawk I have first Ill check the air chamber

those barrel I bought off ebay from Dennis Quackenbush , I never checked them they sat for couple of years
if you order from loather Walther just ask them to check the pellet to bore I don't bother getting choked because most of the time they are way over choked / I choke my own

I have a .22 webly vulcan barrel I would need to clean the bore first then check the pellet to bore fit would that work for your long bow? if so I'll check the bore for you

It shoots at around 837 fps average. Sweet cocking cycle. And very accurateHi Dean

I forgot the one I did for you was a .20 cal I was thinking it was a .22 no wonder I thought it was outstanding still the 837 is also good for .20 cal
