What pistol did you shoot today

Inspector Callahan would approve.
I like to think that my intent to keep all the shots in the black was suitably proven. 😎

Incedentally, the good inspector and I have something in common (apart from the love of the Model 29) my surname is the same as his middle name.

After lunch I'm going to take out some SSP's. HW75, V10, and my Marksman 2004 I bought at Walmart for $19.95 many years ago. It's interesting to compare the compression effort of each gun. The 75 closes easily, and the V10 is a close 2nd. Then there's the 2004/P17. Better eat your Wheaties for that one. Despite the heavy compression, I like the gun. Really nice trigger, great accuracy, and you can't beat the price.

This evening, I stot the Crosman Model 357 8 after doing chores and feeding the horse.

Crosman doesn't list the silver version of 357- 8", which is a 10 shot, I believe these were manufactured in 1993.

The gun is a single/double action .177 caliber CO2 revolver that is a replica of the Colt Python firearm. But breaks open like a Webley Mark 4. The pistol has a 8 inch barrel, a ten-shot rotary clip, and it can hold one CO2 powerlet. They were made in three variants with 4" 6" or 8" barrel with black finishes and plastic mold barrel. The 8 inch silver / brass barrel is the most difficult to obtain. it has all metal construction and brass barrel.
