RAW Rapid Which of these scopes would you mount on this RAW slug gun?

Nice rig !! Id be doing the NF but what I really want to know is what the do-dad directly above the plenum extension .? not your normal blanking plug.

If you're referring the silver bolt like knob above the plenum connected to the block... I've been told it's a few extra CC's directly inline with the valve.

Michael, those are all nice scopes, couldn't go wrong with any of them being mounted! For longer range the NF.

Hi Jerry,

It came from the factory. I've been working with RAW to help develop their slug gun, basically just providing feedback.

I'll create a separate thread related to the new HM1000x's. But long story short... they are using a new 5 axis machine for the blocks which alleviate the need for the G1/4'' hole drilled through the bottom. I believe this increases the internal plenum from 24cc's to 30cc's. It's unclear how many CC's that tiny silver plug supplies. In addition to that they provided a neck-down plenum (to fit in the MPA chassis) that is 35cc's. Currently the regulator is set to 145 bar and it's shooting 30g slugs at 980 FPS.

I know we cant get rid of blanking plug but plenum, etc.

Yes they do, except the .177 that has a choke in the end of the barrel. I shoot slugs from my .22 and .25cal poly rifled barrels and they are accurate at the right velocities

Depends on the slug. I shoot .22cal Altaros ATP Smooth 32.5gr slugs at 905-915fps, and H&N 25gr HP at 970-980fps. You’ll have to get slugs and try them out to find your sweet spot. I’ve found that the slug sweet spot is much smaller than pellets for some reason.
