getting my stuff together and got a basic electric pump. 4500 max and only runs 25 min and fill 1 litter recomended.... so what is the best options for inexpensive buddy bottles? and ...how many times will fill....say an avenger. how many fills do you get from your 1 litter bottle? still learning and trying to figure everything out, and considering options. thanks guys for all your awesome advice, knowledge and skills!

The other day I was just mentioning about some plastic or teflon pallet/slug. But I was thinking if such can be made in precision with lead core for weight it may serve a good purpose, in lesser air pressure one might achieve higher velocity. Teflon once locked into the rifling might glide smoother, with no carbon dust emission for subsequent shots, airgun has no firepower so heat may not be an issue. Come to think of ur barrel might even last forever!

First off, from Skout themselves(Mainly Luke, as he designed and built them), are new, beefy, feel the power…..COCKING HANDLES!!

According to Luke, only colors black, red, blue and gold will be available at this time.
Really makes a difference especially for the competitive shooter. It’s hard to explain but those of you that have upgraded to beefier cocking handles on your competitive rigs, you all know what I’m trying to put down. Anyway, Great Job, Luke!

The Skout Epoch magazines, have got to be one of the best out there in the pcp multi shot industry. Their mags are equal to the impact in shot carry amount(or close to it) but better in build as it’s all thick metal, and a magnetized lid at three points, as well as bring magnetized in attachment to the chassis. It’s as if the magazine throws itself out of your hands and into the mag slot, perfectly aligned and seated. And when your mag is empty, you simply pull it out with no clip or lever to pull or press over. They truly are a well engineered design.

But what it lacks that the impact has, is a pellet stop, something to let you know hey, you’re out of ammo. I put Elis onto this task, and like everything I’ve ever thrown at him, it’s always been a piece of cake for him. Truly a skilled individual. What he did was recreate the center cores, the spinning carriers, to work just like the impact mags-

They worked flawlessly as I’ve shot close to 1200 rounds thru my epoch, all using his inserts:
But wait! What’s that off to the right in the second magazine pic, you ask? You impact owners that remember Elis’s speed loaders? Well, he’s made them for the epoch mags, and they, too, work perfectly without one hitch. Makes reloading a factory mag lightning fast. And on these, he uses magnets at three points not only to secure the lids to them, but to attach onto the factory’s three point magazine magnets so the chances of spill out are not even close. Drove to the Post Office in town. Walked out with a long heavy box. It was my first stop of a 7 hour journey. Drove me crazy to have it behind me all day, whispering to me. Got home. After unpacking and sit down with a coffee, I finally check it out.
I give my rifles a name and this one is “Lucy” same as Albert King’s guitar. It’s a HW90 .177 cal. #3. I can’t wait to play with the pump and gauge on this one. Last nite I read an article on Weihrauch’s site about the 90 testing down to 10 bar.
The 90’s are growing on me like an infection. I actually went to buy a .22 cal. but they were sold out, so I got the sister .177. Definitely a good candidate for a custom stock.

The air gun needs to have a male Foster fitting, most USA sold air guns have that.

I am selling most of my air pistols and buying a few air rifles that do not recoil. It will only be shot at targets under 25 yards, so accuracy is more important than power. I have ordered a CMP Daisy853 which is a single pump, but I also want a CO2. I don't want an all-out target rifle with all of the adjustments, but I do want accuracy. I would get a Daisy 887 but there are no places near me that fill rechargeable cylinders. I see the Beeman QB Deluxe is a sporter type stock CO2 rifle with very mixed reviews online. I would appreciate any comments anyone may have about the accuracy of this rifle, compared perhaps to the Daisy 753/853.

I sold this a little while ago on this site; I shipped it in a heavy duty foam lined case. Still, UPS managed to crack the stock. I had a gunsmith fix it. He previously had fixed another stock for me and I’m still using it. I have shown the crack in the repaired stock in the last pictures. Even though it works great, I’m selling it for parts because the receiver, barrel, and scope are worth more than my asking price of $600.00.

I replaced the original barrel/shroud with a 300mm Superior barrel/shroud and replaced the larger tank with a .3L tanks. The rest of the gun is as received, new. The 3-9 UTG scope is also included. I am new to this online forum thing. I am 70 years old and not a computer guy so I apologize in advance if I do something wrong.

Started down the PCP airgun Rabbit hole two years ago! Wow great new avenue of shooting sports. Started with an FX Impact M3 in 25 cal. Added an FX Panthera 22 cal. Awsome rifles accurate and very adaptable. Ive been in Mesa AZ for a couple weeks and visited Airguns of Arizona. What a fun place friendly knowledgeable staff and so many nice guns. Added another PCP an Edgun Leshiy 2 with two barrels 22 and 30 cal. they will ship it to me. Now I can't wait to get home and play with that. I'll be visiting here for advice with that one!

Fx STX vs Superior liner (according to me!...).
*STX = Rifling are little deeper, from chamber to muzzle end grooves are uniform and end abruptly (bore are choke), the pallet flight takes the shape of polygony impression.
*Superior liner= Chamber ends are totally round which resize the imperfect sized pallet, muzzle end also round (but not flare) which send off the pallet in full round contour (instead of rigged rifling mark around the pallet) which may be better aerodynamic in flight, the round segment end do not disturbed the pallet spinning patten because it's just a segment of ring at the very end.
Verdict is till now no one really knows what barrel is better than which, but their approach of Superior liner is something. At least that exact can't be reproduced in a solid barrel type except in metal tube reshaping process which FX liners are doing (let's just say they're taking full advantage of their innovation )

Explains why most ammo is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway, and why some ammo zings toward the 18"x12" target 50yds away and can't stay on the paper.

What's a guy to do? Request a new barrel? Find someone that can size to .514?
