What is FPE? What do I need to measure it? How do I increase it? How much do I need?
I am shooting an HW97, .22 with a 14.3 pellet. I’m sighted in at 40 yards and have a group of about 1.5 inches. My one goal is to kill pests, mainly ground squirrels. It seems the gun is less accurate on a sled than when I use a bag. Or maybe I’m the one less accurate.
Another question. I may have to move the scope as it appears it’s to far from my eye. Will I need to resight it in if I do this?

Back in May I ordered 7 tins of JTS 18gr 22 cal domed pellets from Pyramyd Air. I shot up the first tin a couple months ago and found several 25 cal pellets mixed in. I didn't count them, but there were several. Today I opened a second tin and counted 41 25 cal pellets. So, I opened tin #3 and counted 33 25 cal pellets. I haven't had time to open any more yet, but that unreasonably high contamination rate.
Called PA but since it had been a few months there wasn't anything they could do and I understand that. I also emailed JTS and we'll see what happens there.

Has anyone had any similar experiences with JTS pellets?

One thing I will say, my M3 absolutely loves them when you get the right caliber. I was getting 1/4-3/8" 10 shot groups at 30 meters.

I started selling PCPs almost 2 years ago and I notice this year has been quite the decline in interest. My existing customers love them but I am really struggling to get new people interested more than ever. I am competetive with online pricing at a local level and even fix peoples gun for free and educate them on how to use and work on everything but interest has just about ground to a halt. I don't get it. I love PCP's.

but its going to be judged by 50% targets & 50% the most pests of any kind taken within 30days.
i told him, if we can wait til mid peanut harvest i'd be willing to be your opponent.

For sale is this 88 cu ft (9 liter) MSA tank in like new condition. If not for the manufacture date of 01/03 , you would think is is pretty much unused surplus. Obviously this was used as a back-up unit to comply with safety regulations. In fact , this tank has never been re-certified (hydro tested) . I removed the scba valve and inspected the tank , replaced the valve with a 300 din valve with a flow restrictor , and a male foster fitting , upgraded the gauge to a larger easier to read unit and snugged everything down including a 90 Buna o-ring between the valve and tank. After a slow fill to 4500 psi to check for function and leaks , it's ready to go . Also included is a 20" micro bore hose with female foster fittings at both ends and a strain relief than runs the entire length. At it's age , NO COMMERCIAL BUSINESS WILL FILL IT. You must have your own source of high pressure air or a good buddy with a capable compressor. I personally use these tanks for my cascade fill station. This tank looks almost new and functions flawlessly. Because this tank is beyond it's "15 year service life" , you must use at your own risks and assume responsibility . Selling for $235 plus actual shipping and insurance . I use Pirate Ship and do not pad the shipping costs. FYI the box will be 26 x 8 x 8 and ~ 15 lbs. The tank will be shipped empty to comply with DOT regulations .............unless you care to travel to Hickory , NC.......then you will get it full. Not interested in trades or offers at this time . good evening everybody. i am very new to airguns and this forum. never realized this realm is so intricate and expensive lol. i am used to firearms so i do have some knowledge of gun mechanics. anyways i am looking to purchase my first PCP airgun. i wanted to use it for hunting medium-big game. i was really interested in the Bintac m50 in 45 cal. Would this not be good for a beginner gun? so all i will need to get this working is the gun, hand pump, and slugs correct? can i leave the gun charged max at home for long periods of time? Sorry for all the questions i just really wanna know all the ins and outs of PCP guns before i make a purchase cuz holy cow its expensive. thanks everyone!
