Shot this squirrel this afternoon. .22 hatsan 95 vortex, 17.75gr vortex pellets, about 15 yards resting on sliding door frame. Head shot, dropped stone dead. Cleaned and in fridge. It will be cooked up this weekend with the other few that are in the freezer.

Already looking for another gun, I love my R9 in .177 caliber, I wanted a .22 so I got a Hatsan and dislike it because I can't seem to get good groups.
So, Is the HW85 the same as the 95 or does it have less power.
The HW80 has more power but will it be less accurate than the 95 due to more recoil. Also for those who have shot both HW80 and Hatsan MOD 65, how do that compare in recoil?
Also noticed the FPS is different from site to site.

PCP newbie here. I had some concerns regarding my new Avenge-X that might also be basic PCP questions:

1) The lowest pressure I can get on the regulator is 1500 psi. And yes, I degassed before lowering the regulator... I tightened the reg screw all the way before filling, but the reg still creeped up to 1500 psi over the course of a 4000 psi fill. Is this a cause for concern or do I need to "wear in" the reg some more? I should note that aside from this, the reg is pretty stable and only creeps ~100 psi over the course of a week. The 1500 psi minimum is kind of annoying because I'm trying to get <900s fps for 10.34gr 177 pellets and I'm stuck at ~910 even with the hammer spring all the way out.

2) The fill port cover is sometimes very tight and I don't know if that happens when I degas the gun (everything gets cold and the metal contracts), over the course of shooting, or if there's a leak causing pressure build up at the cover. Anybody have experience with this?

I have an AGT Uragan 2 that I’m having trouble filling. It’s the compact version and the bottle is small. I tried filling it directly from my GX CS4 compressor but it leaks around 110 bar. So I bought a tank and tried filling it with a faster burst of air and it maid it up to 150 bar but still leaks. I bought the gun new from Krale and I’ve already shipped it back to them to check out. They told me it’s fine and held full pressure for three days. My next plan is to refill my filling bottle and try that again with an even faster turn of the release valve. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

I have had this a couple years. It still works fine. However I now use a cs4 to fill my gk1.
It may need a rebuild since I have used it so long. Or maybe not. That's why $250 (now $225) shipped lower 48. PayPal or zelle.

Didn't know where to post.. My family has 96 acres of property here in fayete County pa..The property is actually a wonderful wildlife estate or excellent candidate for some white Tail habit management. The problem is a small patch town is in the middle of our property.. They do whatever they want..They have threatened me...harassed me...I got the ON X app and posted all borders with signs purple paint and purple tape...A combination of all three...You can't rip paint off trees.... The neighbor directly besides my 40 acre parcel....shot a 160 inch buck last year... I literally followed the blood trail tape for.that buck going through my field.. Where they trespass the most ATV gas line...I cut 30 ft of trees brush briars....to block access to property..... They came in worked and removed it all......ahhhhhhhh.......the other side of gas line on my property blocked quad trail with T-post purple tape Posted signs....as soon as I left... The trespassers came back with T post puller and stole my post...unblock. Trail.... The trespassers are sad to say grown me 40 and 60 years old of above middle class... I'm disabled just starting to get around...Im not able to financially or physically able to build gates and fences for them to deconstruct when I leave.. I don't now if I can camera trap them......Last year when the 160 inch buck was shot by neighbor... My nephew found corn bait piles on my property... Close.to trespassers house 100 yards... Game commission called...they removed bait piles.. The trespassers uses many cell cams and monitors one way road ...they know when I'm on my way to property..... I gotta stop stop.them or sell property.... Thanks for any advice and letting me vent...this forum has been so good to me and so much appreciated.....

I was able to score the accurate 158 gr hp mould as well so will be casting this winter.

I am torn on optic on it, I'm thinking an lpvo 1-10 or some other form of compact scope on it.

I recently bought a R9 .22 and when i first started shooting it I was lucky to hit an 1 1/2 square consistently at 76 feet. I start doing some research and no doubt i was holding the gun like a PCP resulting in the poor groups. I started using a front bag and barely holding on to the gun and I started getting some great groups, very pleased. My R9 has a fair amount of recoil. My question is, I see where occasionally someone will list a springer that has had some work done to it and in the listing it says "no recoil or maybe very little recoil." Will these guns be easier to shoot accurately? Can they be held more like a PCP and get good results?? Just trying to educate myself more regarding springers.

2 months ago I purchased a Gamo Magnum GR in .25 caliber. It is a springer... not a ram air. I have shot about 700 rounds through it... using many different varieties of pellets. It seems to like the Diablo Exact King 25.39 grain the best but... even when shooting off of a bench rest, I can't get groups of less than 6 inches at 40 yards. (Maybe 5 inches if I exclude the worst shot). It seems to be very inaccurate. The power is out of this world though.

My 1980 Feinwerkbau Sport 124 (.177 caliber) shoots so much more accurately than this Gamo Magnum GR. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to improve the accuracy? (Note that all screws on both the rifle and the scope are tight. The trigger is set to about 1-1/2 pounds).

I've received two different orders with three different H&N pellets from PA and none of the tins have the foam insert inside the tin that kept pellets from rattling around. Haven't seen any damage so far on the tins I opened, But was just wondering why they cut out this piece when it seemed to help. Now I wonder how long before H&N pellets are garbage like JSB?

I have a rti prophet performance that needs a regulator. Currently no regulator is in the gun. I took it out to try and fix a leak coming from the regulator area. Could never get it working right and gave up and it’s been just collecting dust since. Before this is worked fine and I never had a problem. Make me an offer. I will accept various trades for it possibly. (Scopes, bi-pods, scope rings, hunting stuff, shooting stuff) but if you want to make a cash offer let me know.

I have a question and looking for advice. I purchased online a brand new Leshiy2 package deal that came with a Peazy. Upon receiving the package among other issues, I cannot plug the PeaZy in to the gun unless I fully disconnect the stock. It’s too big to even just unfold the stock. The problem is that they did not install the fitting the twists to expose the side port fill holes and only have a male foster fitting in place of the bottle. I asked the person who sold it to me to explain how to fill the gun and he said to twist the fitting to expose the fill ports. I explained that there are none and had to send him a video of the gun he sent me showing that it doesn’t fit. His resolution is for me to disconnect the stock every single time I want to fill the gun. Since I am not using a bottle, imagine how much a an inconvenience this will be and I also explained that when I’m in the bush, do I sit the gun down in the dirt while I fumble and fill the stock. Filling the stock with a Peazy is not a one hand process. Wasn’t the Peazy and EaZy created to be faster?.. I’m actually working backwards here.
I received the gun in august and we are still fixing previous issues along with this one. He is trying to convince me to disconnect my gun, sit it in the dirt or hang it on a tree so I can fill it. He’s forgetting that even he thought all I had to do was twist it. I don’t understand the reason of selling me the leshiy package with a Peazy if I have to work harder to use it.
That is the story and now my question is to anyone. Can you please give me your thoughts on this one. I don’t want to mention the person and be disrespectful but I feel that I’m only asking him to fix the issue and give me what I paid for. Please send your thoughts.
