Traditional Rifle  NLA Tuned HW95L - $550

I have this HW95L from AoA that has been tuned by Scott aka Motorhead. It is currently in .177, shooting a very smooth 13.5 fpe with the h&n ftt.
Also included is a vortek PG4 spring and guide, as well as an ARH spring and guide - both are full power and should reach up to 17fpe.
Also included is a .22 barrel it originally came with. I wasn't happy shooting .22 at 13.5 fpe, so switched it to .177. It's nearly pristine, I could not find any stock dings, and the metal looks perfect. I played a bit with the springs, but Scott put the original factory spring in with a custom guide and I have NOT taken it apart since then - this is internals assembled by Scott. I swapped the barrel to .177 afterwards.

I still have the front sight as well. It will be included as well as the muzzle brake.

For the above gun and parts, I am asking $550.

Optionally included is the RWS lockdown one piece mount and Discovery 3-12 compact scope: $100

Gun is $600, add the scope and mount and it jumps to $750, this is shipped CONUS, double boxed with original paperwork and packaging and box. Scope and mount will be removed and shipped in a separate box if you want it included.

I accept paypal F&F or +3% for G&S. I can also do venmo.

Many thanks to nervoustrig/Jason!

Just wanted to publicly say thanks to nervoustrig/Jason for fixing my DAR .177

I have followed his posts for several years and have talked with him on a couple of occasions.

His passion for airguns is not equaled by many and his knowledge is up there with the best on AGN and GTA.

A more likable, intelligent and personable guy you will not meet. A great asset to the airgun community!

Thanks Jason!

All my best!

Hatsan  What's Going On

First off, I was shooting a different target and after a few shots of the pellets being on target I put up a new one. The first one was a little low but 2,3 and 4 was dead nuts, the 5 flew off and the rest was history.
I just need to know what's going on so I can shoot this thing good. Or just get rid of it and get a HW95 in .22.
It's a Hatsan MOD 65 .22 caliber. with a Hawke 3-9x40.
The pellets I was shooting are Umerex. Brimstone 18.67gr. shooting about 25 yards from target.

Kral Arms  budget pcp 1st timer suggestions

so im looking into getting a pcp going to be using this to shoot coons / birds and squirrels mainly. My #1 concern is the whatever i get needs to be quiet .
so far ive looked at a couple brands thinking .25 cal . i want something thats on the more compact side not a bullpup but not a airforce texan . ive looked at alot of the bigger brands like fx/ airforce /aea some others as well hatsan and few more not really sure i want to spend that kind of $ atm. want more of a entry level gun . i do like the air venturi avenge-x classic but with a moderator its a really long setup for what im looking for i follow this youtube hunter guy (fowlers markery and mischief) saw he uses a Kral puncher so i did some research seems to be a decent gun other videos and post i read seems to be pretty accurate for short range shooting .
what i did find and like the look and size of is a Kral puncher jumbo thinking maybe found one that which is like a little over 400$ shipped + would likely do a moderator
any other suggestions let me know im open ears

Scammed by Bwhisnant95

Hi Everyone. Many of the people know me from this forum. Bought lots of items many times. Last my two purchases were prophet 2 compact .177 and Deltawolf .25

Prophet 2 i receved in brand new condition as the seller told me.

But the deltawolf........
Per the sellers words, it had to be like new. only 30 shots done from it and then stored because of the electric system he was not feeling comfortable with.

I received it with chinese bottle when the seller told me its 700cc but in reality it is 500cc. And kept the original one for himself.
It was missing the cheekpiece and after some time seller sold me that cheekpiece with screws from something else. They are thinner and longer. so this cheekpiece is useless untill i get correct size screws.
the gun screws were loose. almost all of them. Why did he or somebody do this i dont know.
The regulator is Dead. Slow filling and overnight goes 15 bars higher then set pressure.
The gun case is full of fur. Somebody shaved a cat in it.

But all what i wrote thats nothing compared to the problem which i noticed when i charged gun fully and took it to test accuracy. shot 1 pellet, then i reloaded and pellet is stuck somewhere in the barrel. Lever is stuck and wont move forward. Luckily we had Key set and removed the barrel and the surprice. Some idiot drilled the transferport with a dremel or something even worse. He was hoping to shoot slugs from it and he made a hole bigger that 25 cal JSB king. We were shocked when we saw how the pellet got stuck into the transfer port. I will attach pictures of the barrel in what condition i receved the gun.
It is fixed now, barrel is machined like from the factory. yes its shorter now because we had to cut off the transfer port and make new one.
And i will order new regulator too.

Seller told me (But that he sold me the gun for half price!!!!)
:D :D :D

But what do you people think when it has non original bottle and lied about capacity, losen screws, everything dirty and dusty with a cat hair everywhere, killed regulatator, killed transferport(Barrel)? is it good purchase?

I added Michael into our chat and the seller offered me the original bottle like compensation and when i agreed he disappeared. He does not answer my calls or text messages.

I did not want to open thread like this. I am not that kind of person but i want that everyone saw what he sold me

I call people like him scammers!

PCP Rifle  NLA JTS Airacuda MAX .22 caliber that leaks air

Hello everyone

OK, PLEASE read all of this:
I purchased this rifle 10/03/2023 from High Pressure Pneumatics and have shot a bit over 2000 pellets to date, shoots really good and held air up until 11/12/2023. I noticed that the air cylinder was losing air over night from 3,000 down to 2800. I am not a gun smith and do not want to work on this rifle. It will cost me approximately $25 to $30 to send it back for $3.00 worth of new seal to be installed, so if you are a person that enjoys working on air guns I will offer this at a reduced price of $345.00 and I will pay the shipping to lower 48 states. PLEASE NOTE: I am selling this rifle “AS-IS”, I do not want any misunderstandings concerning this sale.

I originally paid $446.00. Comes with three (3) factory Magazines and all of the original factory accessories and original factory box and another outer shipping box.

If you decide to purchase I will list this on my website so it can be paid with a credit card.

Scope and Rings DO NOT go with the sale.

Ships Free to lower 48 states ONLY.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

GX-CS4 finally arrived...

The compressor arrived in excellent condition. Instructions are simple and easy. Based on the reviews, I flushed the cooling system with distilled water several times until the water ran crystal clear. I then let the pump run unstressed for a bit to let everything break-in and "seat" property. I closed the bleed for short periods to add a little stress before actually doing the dead head test. It only took 26.6 seconds to reach 300 bar.

If you saw my previous thread, I was a little worried about the coupler. Upon trying it on the Wildcat MkIII, along with the FX supplied coupler, I dare say, the GX coupler is actually smoother to operate and feels like a better connection. Guess I won't need an adapter for now. But, I now know a good place to get one, if I do!

I have been gingerly shooting the original fill from SPAW. I sighted in with the FX 18.1's, then swapped to the longer rail for the Immersive 14x50 and sighted in for the Atomics. I've since taken three squirrels. I've shot three and a half mags and that got me to ~175bar. I set the stop at close to 232 bar as my eyes would let me. Set the backup at 240. I hooked the Wildcat up to the CS4, turned on the fans, then the compressor. I let it cycle a little, then closed the bleed valve. It built to ~180 quickly. Just a few short minutes later, it hit the shutoff. If the gauge on the gun is remotely accurate, I think that's about as close as I could get. Especially for the first time!

This was super simple and about as painless as it could be, sans the external power pack. For my needs and at $504 shipped, I think I made the right decision. I guess I'm now one of the guinea pigs in this experiment. First tenth on the hour meter. Time will tell so, we shall see...

Thank you to all who have replied to my posts, pm'd, and for the ones who provided the excellent historical content to search. It's made my introduction to PCP's much easier.

PCP Question

I am considering getting an air pistol so I am not yet even yet a newby.

For use indoors or in my back yard, CO2 seems the best choice. For use at my gun club with 25 and 50 yard target berms, a PCP style pistol seems to be correct.

My question: Can I use a PCP pistol for short range indoor shooting if I simply fill it up to a lower pressure?

Idea for better pellet speeds

It is reasonable to assume that the limiting factor for pellet speeds in air guns is the speed of sound in the barrel. If you just let compressed air expand behind the pellet, then the pellet would only accelerate until its speed matches the speed of the expanding air, and the speed of the expanding air can't be faster than the speed of sound.
But, if you impart velocity onto the expanding air itself, then this might be able to compensate for this effect.
A bit like what they are doing in this video:

So, creating a nozzle behind the pellet might actually make it go faster, even if it would be a bit of a choke point. This could actually be quite easy to do on most air guns, by incorporating a choke into the probe (to create a nozzle with the barrel walls), assuming much less air resistance all the way through the port, valve and to the air tank (i.e. higher cross-sectional area).

like this:

probechoke.jpg

(the second choke version is intended to be like the ports on some springers, which have stepped changes in diameter to induce eddies and reduce air resistance)
