The big attraction for these guns is of course cost. They also shoot very well when there are are no faults, but quality control has often been poor. I can live with the QC issue if replacement parts were promptly available, but it appears these parts are not available at all. Does anyone know how to order spares for these guns? If so, how prompt is the service?

Does anyone have any good suggestions for an awesome piece of glass that is like a 2-16 or 3-16 ffp?

Looking for a piece for a new toy coming in.. I do like my 3-12 vector but I am thinking I want something more. Going to be a 25 to 100 yard rifle.

My first pcp, a Stoeger bull pup which is a Snowpeak P 35 in a different stock. I thought I might try the moderator on my Diana Chaser on the bull pup but it would require a smaller adaptor. Both rifles are in .22 caliber. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since wind was nearly zero and I had a new scope to zero, I decided to zero at 25 yards so my RAW would be set for indoor matches this winter. The new scope is a Sightron Competition 45x45 with ED glass. Sure makes the bull look big at 25 yards!

Since they stopped making the .177 DAR after the 2nd generation, the 3rd generation is only offered in .22 and .25...

I thought and hoped that I might get some response(s) from anyone who owns a .177 DAR, any generation.

I *think* they stopped making the .177 DAR because of the problems with the barrel(s) in the .177 editions that made/make it hard to get good groups with ANY pellet.
This is based solely on my own experience with a DAR .177 Gen2 which has been hard to match to a pellet with any consistency.

Of course, I could be wrong, but I will ONLY know (and maybe not even then) that, if DAR .177 owners speak up with their experience(s). And even then, I may not know... (smile)

Please DO NOT POST about .22 or .25 DAR versions as this will be of NO help.

There was some discussion the other day about what could be done to further our sport and protect it's growth and prevent future regulation.

Some people were for the idea of "flying below the RADAR". Let's censor our words and not talk about issues with terms which are already in use in the arms industry. You know use "cutsey" names for things which are regulated, even if said regulation does not apply to our sport. BAD THINKING TO MY MIND.

First of all, how do you grow a sport you are trying to hide? That's kind of counter productive, isn't it? Second, why live in fear of what might happen when you can take steps to head it off. I posted in that thread that there was nothing which could be done. I was wrong about that. I even made a fair enough case that assertion was correct in a PM exchange with devnull (because politics should be kept between consenting adults in PMs). I was wrong there too.

If we want to protect this industry, in this country, we need a national organization, like the NRA (but apparently not the NRA... because... fear and loathing in California I guess?). We need an organization that can represent our industry and which carries the clout of a million or two million airgunners.

SO VENDORS, MANUFACTURERS, and FORUM OPERATORS ... There is your challenge. Stop censoring the speech of YOUR PATRONS and get together and BUILD THAT ORGANIZATION before the regulators notice you anyway.

Sort of bummed out.. i got all the accessories, and the gun came defective from Pyramyd Air. I'm sending it back for a refund... i was asking for an exchange, but they say they will not check for any damages before sending it out, and doing the $10 for 10 shots would only make sure the gun shoots and will ship it out even if there are visible damages to it.

The gun came empty of air (i thought they come with some air), and the power adjuster does not turn. Hard to see, but it looks like the dent on shroud was painted over with matte paint, because it has a different shine around it.

And something curious, the gun doesn't look like the other NP-03 I see online. It has a different trigger and buttstock on it. Is this an old version that they sent out?

I have had this Award wining Bobcat for two years now. It was tuned by Center-Cut and he won the Sprortman's Division for 100y BR in 2019 with it. I sincerely moved on to Monster Redeigns for compitetion with pellets and only used .30 for hunting. This gun is too nice for the woods.

I got a raptor 30cal on a trade, don't know alot about it. Has a TJ barrel. I got it from someone that said thos gun was working. With what he sent me it's not working right. The regulator that is on it now won't hold air. May be just bad O rings. It can be a great gun . But I don't want to keep it. My loss your gain . I'll take 800$ PayPal F&F or postal money order. The pressure acts against the surface marked in red. Why not changing its profile so that only a part of the pressure acts along the rod axis?

Putting out the feelers to see if anyone has a Vet compact in .22 and a Vet Long in .25?
I prefer Green laminate, black or grey next and then coffee stocks. No red stocks please. I believe the compacts only come in beech but if it's in a laminate stock even better. Would like them as close to factory as possible. Speed dialers are ok.
