Awesome range day.

Went up to my buddies place on the outskirts of Algonquin Park. Similar to a big State Park, very nice. Been a while since I was here last, fall. I’m up north but he’s another 1 1/4+ hours farther north. I took my HW77 .25, HW98 .22, R9 .20 and a Pro Sport .22. Also took my Weihrauch rim fire HW66 .22lr. All guns performed like it was the last show. The R9 and Pro Sport were just outstanding.
This place is going to be awesome. Check this shack out. 1E404F13-7948-4DF6-B5DD-DBBDFBD4FDCE.jpeg 16x20, 2 ft. off ground, steel roof and sides, hydro, wood stove, stereo and more to come. BF66307F-8F1F-4DC3-B389-D8EE48B1E393.jpeg In the fall I’ll help him knock down a few more trees.
This is my buddies HW80 .22 stainless black wood stock , nice gun. I think it’s 6 yrs. old. This is the gun that gave me the itch of Airguns.
Great day. Made some wicked shots. Crow

NLA Left hand .30 impact mk2

Listing one of my impacts. This one I converted to left hand. The magazine now loads from the left side. Left handed cheek rest and original cheek rest is included. Will include all the original parts if you want to convert it back to a standard impact. Comes with 2 magazines that load from the left. The reg gage was changed to a wika gage. The barrel shroud has a carbon fiber tube added by Ernest.

Asking $1400 shipped with all the original parts and the left hand conversion I made. I'm also interested a trading for a urangan Vulcan 3 in 22 or 177 caliber. I would consider other trades also like a wildcat mk3 BT. PM me for more pictures or any other questions.
I accept pay pal F&F or goods and services plus the fee. I can accept a money order but will ship after everything has cleared.

Impact Mk3

I had my first day out at the dairy with my new Impact Mk3 .25 cal. Sniper. I'm always a bit skeptical when I read the mfr. specs for shot count, which is listed at 160. I was shooting 25.39 grain JSB pellets at 920 FPS, and 125 pellets later I was not yet off the regulator. It shoulders well, is well balanced and it's just over 7 lbs. without a scope. I'm just using it with the shroud and it's plenty quiet enough to suit me. It has power to spare if you need more, and the 25 shot magazine is super convenient and easy to load. Other than a non-double load feature, this gun hit all the marks for me. I am impressed, good job FX.

Here a 1 of a kind ... Vintage 10M stock under a high power PCP

It handles and feels just like a DIANA 75 10M match rifle, tho has a side lever cocking at breech .. Whoa !
It takes 10 shot magazines and is .22 caliber. No measly 6 fpe either, but adjustable from @ 8 to 40+ fpe !!

Here is what one can create having a 40 year old 10 Meter rifle stock, some machine time fabricating while figuring out "how to do it ? "

Fun couple days and it feels and shoots fantastic !!

SOLD Trade or sell .177 BSA Goldstar SE field target

I have a .177 BSA Goldstar SE that BSA designed for field target competition. The stock is adjustable for length of pull, shoulder height, tilt, and comb height. It has an adjustable hamster as well as adjustable match trigger. The rifle is in excellent condition with only a couple minor pressure marks on the stock. I have replaced the factory regulator with a Huma for adjustability, the factory one is non adjustable and will be included with the rifle. I have also installed a Huma shroud and it’s very quiet with it on. The accuracy is excellent and currently shooting 10.34 JSB pellets in the 890’s. The rifle comes with the factory box, a flip out easy load single shot tray and fill probe. The scope is a Hawke Frontier 4-20x44 with illuminated 20x Mil Pro Reticle and is side focus down to 10 yards. This is the newest model from Hawke with the H7 optics system installed on Sportsmatch rings. I can include the scope or leave it off. I also have a like new 4-12x50 Hawke Vantage with Illuminated reticle that I could swap out for a more affordable option. Trades considered are higher power .25 or .30 caliber rifles. I want something at least 60 FPE, more would be better. I was hoping for a bull pup or shorter rifle if possible. Cash prices are below and include shipping CONUS. PayPal F&F, Postal Money Order or I will take a personal check from a well known member with plenty of feedback. I have all positive feedback with over 20 transactions here.

Rifle without scope or rings $1050 shipped

Rough Start to PCP Ownership

So I am shopping for a Kral Puncher Breaker, but just can't get the combo I want for the price I want. Black/black synthetic in .177. I can get the marine finish with synthetic stock for the price I want, I can get the black with wood stock for the price I want, but not black on black. Oh and the black/black .22 is the price I want. Since I don't know when I will get the Kral, I turn to the inexpensive Beeman 1357 bullpup I keep seeing every time I look at the Krals. I fond a deal on the 1357 and make the buy. This one shows up at the house with some air in the cylinder. I connect to my compressor and it pumps right up. Actually other than being a little louder than I would like, I am really enjoying this rifle with no complaints.

Suddenly the Kral is offered on sale and I have a discount code to boot. I order and receive my Kral and excitedly hook it up to my compressor. No good; all the air bleeds right out the barrel. I contact AGD and wait. While waiting I research and discover that this is not all that uncommon. I try every trick I can find: airing while cocked, while cocking, while dry firing, while tapping the valve area, while oriented in different directions but, no good. AGD writes back and tells me I really need to use a hand pump and make about 15 rapid pumps to seat the valve or to use a bottle and rapidly fill some air to seat the valve. I didn't really want to invest in either as I already purchased a portable compressor, but resign myself to the cheaper of the options. Fast forward to tonight. With my new pump connected I begin to pump and pump and pump. I'm pumping like Dig Dug on crack, but air just rushes out of the barrel albeit at a much faster/louder rate then my compressor. I type this as I rest for nearly blacking out. I'll try again this time with an assistant tapping on the valve area, but starting to lose hope. Am I going to need a bottle after all?

Next episode may be my recent experience purchasing an ATI Nova Freedom. Spoiler alert it had to be returned after the first day of ownership.

SOLD Cricket Carbine .25

Like new Cricket Carbine in .25. Only one tin through it. Charlie Frear at Georgia Airguns tuned this one, & it's set up for 34 grain King Heavies at 895- still some hammer spring left, so it can go higher if desired. Getting 43 regulated shots from a 250 bar fill. Two magazines, o-ring kit, fill probe included (scope & rings not included).

Did a little write up about it (& the .22 version) here:
https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/the-cricket-twins.1270086/

Like this one just as much as the .22 (which will go to the grave with me), but realizing more & more that I just don't have much use for a .25. Nothing I hunt or pest requires it, & rarely do any shooting past ~60 yards. Every time I shoot in the backyard, gravitating toward the .22.
PM me if you have any questions, and I'll be happy to get all the photos you want tonight.
Will only ship CONUS. PayPal, Venmo, or money order.

$1100 shipped & insured FedEx. Have 17 tins of 34 grain pellets as well (16 JSB MKII, 1 FX), $280 additional if you want them otherwise will sell separate.

Willing to entertain reasonable offers. No trades except will consider partial trade for JSB .177, 10.34 grain pellets.

What age for pellet gun, while supervised?

It is a long way to go for my son, he is about to turn two. He walks, talks, but has no concept of harming, death, projectiles, etc...
But eventually, I wish for him to have fun with pellet guns, while supervised. I will think about unsupervised fun way later.

So at what age, would someone show their son how a pellet gun works? And what product would be ideal?

My wife hates the idea of having actual firearms or pellet guns at home now. But I wish to have him grow up learning the safety rather than being oblivious to all guns.

How to accurately measure target distances?

If I were to use a tape measure to "precisely" mark distances to 50 yards from my bench setup, would I start to measure from the end of the barrel or somewhere else? Or does it even make a difference? There might be a difference of 24 inches for precision shooters who are shooting for prize money.

FX Impact MK2 700mm .22 700cc 75 FPE!!! build done. lol

I was going to have this thing custom cerakoted and whatnot , and maybe in the future I will take it apart and still have that done but for now its going to see field use so I just threw a black top rail on, kl ex trigger guard, 700cc bottle w/ wrap, and my ATN 5-20 on it.

It also has : Huma high flow probe, huma slug power kit (lighter of the two hammer weights installed), huma extra pressure reg, and huma transfer port along with 2 digital gauges, all of which I installed myself, had one small leak through the atmospheric vent hole but sorted that out and its good to go :)

It is running the HEAVY SLUG LINER with CF sleeve w/ the ernest rowe style barrel tensioning rear screw.

Reg is at 180 bar , 2.5 lines on the valve, and 5 on the hammer spring adjuster

Shooting Zan .218 30.5 slugs at 1055 fps. Need to test accuracy next at the range with this setting, for some reason the reg is just at 180, screw bottomed out so I can only bring the reg up from here , maybe thats just the nature of the huma extra pressure reg.

RTI Guns — What's the next model going to be called?

Someone elsewhere suggested a few names for the next RTI gun:
Could make it the demon or exorcist in keeping with priest and prophet naming conventions

I think RTI's naming is creative.👍🏼

Here are a few more ideas for the next great gun from the RTI line: 😉

▪ Apostle
▪ Doomsayer, Doomsdayer
▪ Oracle
▪ Preacher
▪ Diviner
▪ Wizard
▪ Mage
▪ Mystic
▪ Seer
▪ Sorcerer
▪ Shaman
▪ Voodoo
▪ Druid
▪ Guru
▪ Alchemist
▪ Mentalist
▪ Medicine Man
▪ Magician
▪ Psychic

RTI Prophet II — Powerful and Tough — a Hunter's Dream

On another thread there were some concerns about if the RTI is a good hunting rig....

And a few other concerns about sturdiness....

And big power....

So, instead of derrailing that thread, here goes:

RTI Prophet II ■

🔸Instead of the Impact's 30 o-rings, the RTI has 7* (seven) o-rings.
*[Correction: 6, and for performance version: 15👍🏼]
And a very sturdy shroud/barrel.

🔸 The OEM magazines are nice for left-handed shooters.
And the CARM magazines don't flip left/right.

🔸 You want BIG power — but a sturdy gun:
.177cal = 22—37FPE
.22cal = 35—65FPE
.25cal = 44—77FPE
.30cal = 48—100FPE
Plenum 70cc
HardAir Magazine just did a write-up, and they have more power graphs (power—regulator setting correlations):

🔸Externally adjustable regulator 80-180 bar (1150-2600psi)
🔸Externally adjustable hammer spring

🔸Barrels
.177cal:
510mm=20", 1:17.7 twist, choked
.22cal: 600mm=24", 1:16 twist, light choke to accomodate both slugs and pellets, proprietary RTI barrel
.25cal: 600mm=24", 1:16 twist, light choke to accomodate both slugs and pellets, proprietary RTI barrel
.30cal: 600mm=24", 1:16" twist, choked

🔸 Caliber change kits available
🔸Arrow barrel available (Arrows X7 2212)

This is a dream gun! 😊

Scope issues

Trying to get my Benjamin Prowler break barrel sighted in. When I first got the rifle, I used the Center point 4x32 scope it came with.
I got the windage adjusted properly with very little issue, however, the elevation is cranked all the way "up" and the gun is still shooting too low.
I added a few "shims" to the rear scope mount, to raise up the rear in hopes it would correct this. I have it shimmed so much you can see the tip of the barrel in the bottom of the scope, and it still shoots too low, it's almost there! But not quite.

I got a different scope , a 3-9x40,, exact same issue with this one , maxed out all the way and still shoots too low. This sçope has a direct dovetail mount, no round mounts, so I can't shim this one to try that out.. I am a beginner, what the hell am I doing wrong here ? 2 Scopes can't be off, any advice is appreciated.
I have been doing and am currently doing research on it, just looking for live advice 👍👍

By saying it's shooting too low, I mean the POI is lower the center of my cross hairs. I need to lower the cross hairs more to match the POI, but I'm out of clicks

Came to a conclusion today.

While shooting my two Nitro Piston rifles, and one of my Springers, I finally decided that I sure do like the shooting experience of a Springer, over a Nitro Piston gun. Generally, my Springers shoot more accurately for me as well. I don't know if it is made up in my head, or others feel the same way.

It just sucks that Springers tend to be a little more weather/temperature sensitive than an NP. Has anyone been able to get decent performance out of their Springers in the cold? I have never shot mine below about 45 degrees.
