Just a word of caution and I bring this up as I have read of others getting scammed in this same manner. Ignore the “this other guy has what you are looking for (insert email address)” when you have a WTB ad posted. Just got this message from someone that joined the forum today. I not so kindly told him what his friend Paul could do and called him a very derogatory name. I know childish but people like that get at me very deep. If I could track them down I’d honestly probably end up in prison. I know this comes with WTB ads and just want to let others know so they don’t get taken with the hey my friend Paul has what you need. Luckily there are good people here and I’ve probably found what I am looking for.

Why has it been so brutal trying to sell lower tier air rifles on here lately? Is everybody in here just looking for fx and daystates? Lol there’s got to be some newer airgunners in here looking for something other than high end rifles.

Are the Taipan Veterans now coming with LW barrels? Are they not as good?

I just wanted to give a shout out to ARH for putting together one heck of a kit for the HW35E. Aside from the kit, the barrel has been polished using Kroil, JB Bore Paste, and a dab of Permatex Valve Grinding Compound. It took nearly 200 shots to re-season the barrel, but this gun is shooting better than ever with JSB Exact 15.89gr.

For giggles, I shot a 15 shot group with 5.53 FTTs. Before the polish, this gun preferred 5.54 and was pretty fussy with the 5.53s. Now it is fussy with 5.54 and seems to like the 5.53s... I can't seem to explain that. Low right "flier" was me. Its dark out and I'm using a UTG compact so it was a bit hard to see. I'm think I'm going to need to test these 5.53s a bit more now too.

How much more quite is a Donny FL compared to a stock FX moderator? Is it worth upgrading to a Donny?

I already have Kalibrgun Cricket 2Tact in .22 long but looking for another pcp rifle. (I might have the pcp bug). Purchased this Taipan Veteran .25 new. It has never been fired. Sent original barrel off to be modified and never got it back. I'm just cutting my losses at this point. Rifle is complete MINUS barrel. Has new Huma regulator and Czech plenum installed. Comes with (2) mags, fill probe, and OEM gauge. A sehkmet digital gauge is installed but my cat chewed the charging cord. As such, I am including original gauge, still has plastic on face. This rifle is in pristine condition. It's hard to keep the PCP airguns fed when the tank allows so many shots per fill! Haha

Started with a Gamo Break Barrel a few years back and man I would shoot around 1/4 a tin during a session. Now shooting the Impact I'm lucky if I don't shoot a whole tin within a few hours!

It would hard to go back to a break barrel after shooting a PCP though. My wife also agrees as she is 4'11" and could barely break the barrel to load another shot

Built a folding bench top so I could shoot out my basement window during the winter. My wife tried to make fun of me so I would take it down.... not a chance it's here to stay! Haha

I dont use it much but when winter comes and the bird feeders go up its nice to stay warm inside, have a cup of coffee, watch the birds, and pick off the "bad ones".

Anyone else come up with a clever idea to shoot during the non optimal months for being outdoors?

I have 3 barrels. 22 25 and 30. You choose the barrel. This came with the origional regulator, I bought a repr afterwords. Just the gun and 1 barrel with both regulators is 1800.00. The barrels are all alphas. The 25 has 2 magazines, the other 2 only come with one magazine. Barrels will be only be sold separately after the gun sells. Will include a full tin of Jsb to fit the caliber you choose. Gun functioning perfectly. I am a shooter and not a collector, looking to try something else for a while. Warning, you will burn thru pellets very quickly! I placed a carbon fiber wrap around the shroud and glued a picatinny rail for a light, it comes off easily if you dont want it, but it protects the shroud from dings. I have good standing on the board if it's still there after this upgrade. I prefer a conversation on the phone rather than texts from those interested, I'm old.

I'm really enjoying the pcp air gunning and have definitely got the bug. I visit this sight every morning with a cup of espresso as part of my daily routine. I've had a Prod for a while now I bought used from a fellow member. I've done plenty of research on tuning and moding the gun. Currently it has the Bstaley oring mod and does well, good numbers, and the gun shoots exactly where I point it I know I can (Why the auto italics?) sink a ton of money into this gun and the consensus I've found is at the end of the day it is still a Prod. Don't get me wrong I do love my Crosman/Benjamin guns. I still use my 1377 and 2240; the Prod has become my go to gun.
