Shot these two groups after work today, Crosmam Premier Hollow Points from the tin. Very light wind conditions, bipod front, shoulder as rear bag. The West Hunter 3-12x44 isn't really a target scope, though it's been great for pesting so far.
This isn't my video but have enjoyed watching these guys. Few minutes in you see what looks like a paw reach in, definitely creepy looking. They not sure wth it is? My guess a dog?
I was reading my Impact manual regarding decocking procedure before making adjustments on the knobs (Crown too). They say with no pellet in gun to bring lever all the way back, pull trigger and hold it back continuously and then bring cocking lever forward. Would the same thing be achieved by bringing cocking lever back, remove magazine and then cock it and dry fire? Seems like it would but I don’t know the internals and how that might be different than their procedure. Randy
Finally pulled the trigger on my first .20 cal. I placed an order with AoA for a 95 Luxus and should have it here by Tuesday of next week. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty excited lol.
Anyone with .20 cal experience want to hype me up some more while I wait? I have a few tins each of JSB 13.73 and FTT 11.42 already. I plan to test everything I can get my hands on but is there anything in particular that I should keep my eyes peeled for?
What do you guys like to run yours at? Is there a sweet spot on these things? Most of what I have read/watched/been told is to shoot for 16frlbs give or take. Opinions on this?
I was out painting some parts and seen him chilling on top of the pole. I figured he can live til later, but I kept an eye on him. Came out to hang another part to dry and there he was, chewing on the lines! I think not!
I grabbed the Akela 25 and side shot, headed out side. He was showing me his brown eye for a bit and I'm not that mean to do a Texas heart shot, so I waited. Damn this 95° heat and high humidity while holding a heavy bullpup with huge scope and big phone mount. Excuse my panting lol!
Got a nice vital shot with an FX hybrid. The look on this poor bastards face is priceless. He fell into the wooded easement and I'm not going in after him, too damn hot!
I bought this new a few months ago. It’s a VERY accurate shooter. $1075 insured and shipped in continental US. I’ve sold lots of stuff here so feel free to buy with confidence. This is only for sale here on the AGN and If you see this for sale elsewhere, it’s a scam. Sorry, but I’m not looking for any trades.
I shot these two targets yesterday in a 15 mph wind. First target is 10 shots of 50 grain pellets at 50 yards. The other is a 3 shot slug group in same conditions at 50 yards.
Gen1 GMI Swage dies in .22cal. Makes 23.6gr, 24gr & 26gr slugs with flat base can instruct on how I produce a dish base if desired. Asking $300 firm or willing to trade for something of same value.
Excellant condition. Glass and outside of scope are perfect. In the interest of full disclosure, the only mark is on the cover that goes over the battery where it looks like it rubbed on something in the safe. See 4th picture. I don't think you would notice it if I didn't say anything. $350 shipped conus. Would entertain partial trades for .30 cal pellets, .30 cal mags for FX Boss, or 580cc carbon fiber bottle to fit the Boss. If you would like more pics, I can send whatever you would like. Includes rings but no box.
Are FX and JSB pellets made by the same manufacture? FX in the same weight are easier to get and less expensive while H&N pellets don't make a 25 cal 34.95 Is there a issue in the Czech republic regarding manufacturing them presently? Thanks
Got laid off last week so unfortunately I gotta let some things go. Only had this a couple months. Only shot whats on that target plus another 20 or so verifying it likes the 49gn (960fps). They are just under moa at 50, haven't tested farther. Works as it should, I was seeing sd of just a few fps. Putting out right at 100fpe. Asking $1750 shipped, paypal, willing to entertain reasonable offers. I've got about 1200 slugs of various weights from Zan and NSA I will include if you want for further testing. Arken SH4 6-24 MOA and rings can be added for additional $500
I have quite a few birds that look the same. Males are obviously easy to spot, but these females in the pics from my scope cam, can someone tell me for sure these are HOSPs. Thanks.
They have the conical beaks and longer legs and tails, but its hard to tell.
Soo I really don't want to sell this but I need money to buy bullet casting equipment.. this is a 2021 huben k1 22cal and its works great. I have shot birds out to 100 yards with this gun. It likes 25gr fx 22cal pellets and .218 cal h&n slugs.. I'm asking $1200 shipped to your door.. PayPal f&f .. u.s shipping only (Accessories not included)
Hello everyone, I wanted to post a review of the results I had dealing with Motorhead. First, communication is a two-way street and MH, once he returned from vacation, promptly replied to my emails and texts. I even had a couple of very nice conversations with him over the phone, a very pleasant man to talk to and a wealth of knowledge! I sent to barrels to him for tuning and both came back performing extremely well. I've been struggling to get my Daystate Safari .22 HP to shoot tight groups at 50, 75, and 100 yards. I ordered a new barrel and while waiting for it I decided to send the Safari and a Vulkan 3 (.177) barrel to him for an assessment and tune. They both came back shooting much tighter groups than previously. I realize that's a very general and subjective statement, but I shoot so much, I need to do a better job with documentation...I've attached several pictures of the groups from the Safari at 50-75-100 yards. The wind was 3-5 mph with some gusts to ~10. I shot about 10 rounds per target. I'm very satisfied with how the guns performs now versus before Motorhead worked on it. If you are after improved accuracy, barrel tuning is the way to go...
Thank you Motorhead for all the time talking and educating me on your barrel tuning techniques. It's very much appreciated.
Received my new RAW HM1000X Chassis .22 cal in late on Monday and performed all the cleaning and setup work on it. Was able to shoot a couple of rounds before dark enough to roughly site in the scope. It was tuned for the JSB Redesigned 25.39 but nobody had them in stock when I ordered the rifle so I am shooting JSB Monster 25.39. However I am pretty pleased with the way theses pellets are shooting today, that is 5-shots at each target and 4 in one hole on #3. A dime will cover all the shots on all five targets, needless to say I really enjoy shooting this rifle. I have eight tins of JSB Redesigned in transit so I will be able to wear the new off this rifle real soon
Let's say we have a 22 & a 30 impact side by side (M3) besides probe and barrel, is there any other differences? IE: valve, hammer, springs, regulator. What I'm getting at is, if I were to buy a new M3 and want to convert calibers, would I buy a 30 and 22 kit or buy a 22 and a 30 kit? Of course I know the magazines are different!
