ALL INTERNALS HAVE BEEN RENEWED! Brass piston, new valve, new valve rod, new hammer and slug power kit (hammer weight) installed, 580cc bottle, FX digital KELLER GAUGE for precision reg tuning (battery lasts up to 3 years), some more extras in a separate bag. A couple o-rings were replaced. Has barrel tensioner and a CF liner tensioner. Liner is very new and has serial numbers on it. This one has had the front reg deleted for faster reg reset time and plenum recharge. Also comes with 1 pre-bullet central 3D mag, and a very nice single shot mag. Has a very nice adjustable monopod.

The moderator is a 3D printed custom moderator made by tdHouser1964; it works well as it is SUPER LIGHT and therefore won’t affect barrel harmonics. I have purchased a Chinese side lever air rifle from a friend of mine.

I have a few questions on this air rifle. I have furnished some pictures for you viewing pleasure.

1. Is this a TF-41? Manufacture?

Serial number is K706125. About how old is this rifle?

1. There is a button on the bottom of the fore stock that seems to move 2 levers in the chamber slightly.

The rifle cocks, fires, and works fine without pressing this button.

Can this button be adjusted to make the levers in the chamber be higher so they catch?

1. There are 2 holes in the top of the barrel

Is this OEM? I am using the small hole as a stop pin hole for the scope.

Can you oil through the larger hole?

1. I have oiled all the pivot points. I have put some Pellgunoil on the seal in the chamber.

What else should you oil and how do you get at those spots?

Do you oil the silver sliding chamber sleave?

1. I see the chamber seal has a nick in it. Is this hard to change out?

Where can you buy parts like this?



I have been using a bent nose tweezer for gently loading the pellet as the larger scope covers part of the loading port. This works well.



I am sure I will have more questions as I move forward using this rifle.

I had a forum member that really wants the .22 cal barrel so ( I decided to just swap it out with one of my extras and sale it as a .25 cal ) We can make it all work out if we want too haha .
The Package comes with the stock baffle and a donny fl extended baffle which really makes a difference . and the 2 extensions as well with one internal spacer . It's time to move some stuff off again.

Here we have a kral np03 converted to rifle trigger and dropped in a dazzle folding stock.

Has a shrouded/baffled 13" NP02 barrel.

Currently tuned for 15 fpe with the adjuster backed out. Will do 20 fpe with the springs in it, and comes with a clipped factory spring that will go lower power. You could always add a stiffer spring and higher pressure. This gun has done 34 fpe with H&N 21 grain slugs.

Getting 48-60 shots on a 200 BAR fill, depending on spring setting.

35.5" with stock at shortest length, 38.5" extended.

Shoots those slugs well, and does good with CPHP on the lower settings. Will stack JSB and some H&N all day at 35 yards which is what I got at home to shoot to.

Comes with one 12 and one 10 round magazines, fill probe, extra spring, original np03 trigger group, and the bipod.

As with many sports different Brands come to mind. What is a Brand/Brands of Air rifle do you recommend shying away from? There are so many it's hard to keep all of the names straight. Taking advantage of the nicer weather, I've been out working in the yard off and on today. I keep my 2260 pcp in the garage on the weekends for off chance pesting. Today didn't disappoint. I think I got more birds than yard work done today. These are what were recovered, a few were wing shots that took off into the brush. A couple grackles will soon be feral cat or Barred owl food tonight.

Grackles were taken for harassing my song birds at the feeders, and they were also eating my scraps I tossed to my hens. Sparrows and starlings get smacked anytime they're around.

I have finally experienced the infamous POI shift with my FX Maverick VP.

What should have been a clean heart/lung bodyshot ended up being a shot to the mid section that required a follow up shot, and then a third shot just to make sure the deal was done completely. Does anyone know of a fix for this phenomenon, or is it just not safe shooting the Maverick VP without checking your zero every single time before you hunt? Is there a regulated airgun that pushes a similar amount of power in .30cal that does not have this issue?


I am really bummed that I could not have dropped this groundhog in its tracks on the first shot because my gun refused to hold a zero out to 35 yards. I just don't have the luxury to be able to zero before every shot, as it is already like finding a needle in a haystack to even be at my property when the groundhogs have decided to emerge from their burrows and give me a shot. Sometimes, I get a shot in a few minutes like today, but most of the time, it's hours on end of just waiting.

I have a bunch of paintball tanks sitting around that I’d be interested in converting to be able to fill PCP rifles. I know the regulators are too low pressure on the paintball tanks, but I can easily remove those regulators if there is a different fitting I can install to use them as fill tanks.

I have a few 68ci tanks and a couple 80-90ci tanks that should get me a fill or two when out in the field.

I completed the stock on my FWB 300s today. Someone had loaded it up with Tru-Oil. There were some sanding marks and thin spots in the stain as well. Also, the Tru-Oil must have been applied without removing the action because there was Tru-Oil smeared all over the bluing. The bluing is all cleaned up now and stock redone.

Other than that, it is a very nice rifle with original box, packaging and paperwork.

When the details on the DRS started coming out I offered some less than glowing remarks about some of what was known.
I was at the local shop today and one of the folks there had a 600mm walnut version. I was surprised to see the walnut as I thought them to be hard to come by.
I will retract my remarks from earlier about the gun.
Very pleasant to shoot. Proved quite accurate and the walnut on the two examples I looked at was much nicer than I expected from a gun in the price range of the DRS classic.
From what I saw and experienced I think the DRS classic walnut may be the best value in the FX line up right now.
I was tempted to buy, but am in the middle of sorting out an old Cutlass and enjoying the process and the gun too much to be distracted right now.

Not a ding or scratch in it. If you could go back to 1999 with this gun, you wouldn't know it came from 2024. Breech block came out blurry. Looks like an nice stock until you put it in the sun. I remember the Eliminator stocks were more desirable back in the day vs. Crow Magnum ambi stocks. Now the opposite seems to be true.

Wanting some feedback as to what my new .177 should be, looking for superior accuracy at 100 yds or more?

Sorry to have to gripe again but this new change has presented another problem for me at least. Before, if I tapped the forums link it took me to a list of various topics such as General discussion, pcp, traditional and so on. Now it takes me to some sort of variety page. I had to do a search for general discussion to get here. I got the white color back thanks to being told how. So how do I get back to the forums list?

I hadn't shot my AEA challenger Pro .22 In some time so I thought I would give It some love , shot the AEA 21 grain pellets at fifty yards 10 shots no wind this thing still puts a smile on my face

Had someone ask me about a 1965 model 35 that has "prezision" stamped on the breech block anyone have any info on this? I know it translates to "precision tool" and am assuming it's just the way hw marked their rifles for a period of time. But I have a 1957 model 35 that does not have that stamp, and a 1969 model that does not either. Just more curious then anything.....anyone know?

I've got an FX Maverick Sniper 30 Cal shooting NSA 54.5gr slugs through an FX Smooth Twist Superior Heavy barrel (1:18 twist rate). I cleaned the barrel when new and again after about 200 rounds through it. My muzzle velocity is approximately 950fps (don't know for sure because I can't trust any of the chronographs I have). I inspect the barrel every few hundred rounds to see if it needs cleaning. The barrel is always shiny clean with just a minuscule lead flake here or there left from the previous shot. I don't clean or lube my slugs. The NSA's always come with a lot of thin bits of Lead slag on them which I just blow away or flick off with my finger as I load the magazines. I've only got about 1200 rounds through this barrel, but so far I've had no need to clean it after the first 200 rounds.

Am I the only one that doesn't have to clean my airgun barrel?

I've had this Marauder pistol for around 7 years. It started leaking about a year ago. Just ignored it. It would lose most pressure overnight.

Finally diagnosed it with soapy water--leaking from where the pressure gauge screws into the reservoir tube. I have tried 4 ways to seal it--no luck:

-Re-install with yellow gas tape on the gauge threads.
-Re-install with blue loctite on the threads.
-Re-install with both yellow plumbers (gas) tape and blue loctite on the threads.
-Put an o-ring at the base of the pressure gauge.

The leak remains in the same place--right side of the threaded port that the guage screws into, when shouldered and looking down the barrel.

Any suggestions on a way to seal this leak? Should I try a caulk product, or a marine sealant like 5200 or 4000?
