Does anyone have a recommendation as to which compressor is most reliable for filling large tanks,(74 cu ft). As expensive as they are, I do t want to make a mistake in purchasing.

So Tuesday I placed My Order at MidDay. The Guy on the phone said I would receive it today. So Yesterday late afternoon, I had still not gotten a Shipping notice. The Gal wrote back and said I should get a delivery notice this morning, Nope! I got a Notice saying "Your Order has been shipped"! So I checked the Tracking. UPS doesn't even have the package yet. I am looking at a compressor to fill my 2 45min scba tanks occasionally. I use a comp to fill my guns but I would like one to fill my tanks probably 4 times a month, just to take tank to matches or when I'm away from my house. I was looking at the Krypton, omega charger. I would think a water cooled would be preferred. I don't want to mess with water buckets so no Yong Heng. 110 only. I welcome any ideas

Outside 22 and 25 cal. They are LW. But what are the”proprietary barrels”? I’m feeling also LW , but with some refining. Am I wrong?

If you must dispatch an animal with an air gun that you want DRT a good 0.22 or better that can reliability penetrate the skull and reach the brain is your best option. More gun isn't going to change a well placed shot to the skull with a decent 0.22. Even with big bores, If you take lung or heart shots there is a significant chance they will run 30 yards or more. Very few air guns have to power of these PB. and the PB often fail to deliver DRT hits.

If you don't mind your neighbor finding dead, or wounded animal in their backyard, please disregard this post.

I went through several high end guns. Eventually, the taipan vet long was that gun. Didn’t even really “feel “ it at first, but it grew on me and still does to this day. The epic 2 is the other. Same general mold. Others had serious quality stuff, just some didn’t grab me. I know “Leon” will be here with the BRK Atomic, and rightfully so! There is no judgement, what was YOUR gem?

I was testing pellet sorting this morning and the HW97 was fantastic. I was shooting from a rest. Top row was sorted pellets, the bottom row was the rejects. Both were pretty good but the sorted ones were a little more precise with fewer flyers.

25 yards, three shot groups so I could see all the shots.

Well... it happened. Looks like the regulator in my 3-year old FX Crown has given up and is leaking air.
Looking for repair shop options in the San Fran/Bay Area to avoid obscene shipping charges and miserable waiting times.

About 10 months ago I almost got back into PCPs. Currently I have an AA TX200. I went through a bunch of different brands/models over a 10-year period which ended about 4 years ago when I got tired of chasing air (2 hour round trip) and couldn't keep my Omega Super Charger running; Daystate, FX, Air Arms, and my favorites the Steyr Hunter Scout and LP50 HP pistol. I sold them all and didn't take a beating.

I see some good reviews on a few more reasonably priced, dependable (?) compressors; Air Ventura Rovair and GX CS4-I.

It appears PCPs have gone up in price and the used market seems to be holding up pretty good (great for seller, but....well you know).

My interest is plinking to be competent squirrel hunting. I'm pretty sure I'm going for a Charlie Frears Cricket. I like the 25 carbine except for its 46" length - I'd rather have 30-36" OAL). The Mini with skeleton stock looks good too. The Brocock Ghost looks pretty nice as does the Cricket Tactica.. However, I think I'd like to keep everything under $2,000.

I know the Taipan folks are extremely pleased and if it weren't for what seem to be blocky stocks I'd be more interested. I don't want a gun I have to tinker with (that's why the Steyrs were so great).

Any input is welcome.

I have a drone (Phantom 3 Standard) that I'd hoped to use for airgun hunting & spotting prey on the larger permissions I have. Unfortunately the camera gimbal isn't functional but everything else is! I decided to get a new drone for hunting but was hoping one of you RC guys might PM me & let me know where I might sell the old one (LOTS of extras, 2 batteries, camera lens filters, carrying case, extra blades, etc.) A little help, PLEASE!
