A little while ago I picked up a quite clean first generation .22 Wildcat for a song. As it turns out, I really like the thing and find it more comfortable to shoot than my Impact M3. Because I don’t have a lot of money in it and because I’m a tinkerer at heart, I’ve decided to take a chance turn it into something unique. Part of my plans include converting it into sort of a bottle version, have I’ve acquired the parts to do so and the lathe work has already begun. I’m shortening and internally threading the original air cylinder and have made a double male adapter to mount the BT bottle adapter to it. The bottle adapter has an Amp reg in it and the existing air cylinder of course has the internal stock FX regulator and spacer in the rear of the tube. The existing regulator has always been consistent and the recharge rate is nearly instantaneous. Given that some folks delete a regulators on some guns, I’m wondering if I should bother with utilizing both. I’m debating removing the back regulator and utilizing the front regulator only for the ease of adjustability. Is this even a good idea? My Impact doesn’t seem to recharge nearly as quickly (though plenty fast for a follow-up shot but I’m not sure if that’s a characteristic of the multi regulator setup or of the Amp regulator altogether. Any input on this from the FX knowledgeable?

I always wanted a Model 1 but never bought one when they were still avialable,I missed out. I was pleased that Crosman released a similar airgun, the 75th anniversary 2200W with a Walnut stock.
The one I bought twenty years ago had an issue with the forend/pump handle. I bought a new forend but it hadn't been pre dilled so I could fit it to the pump lever.
I asked around (gunsmith,stockmaker,carpenter and enginneer) but no one would drill it for me so I returned for a replacement which I never had.
Tried obtaining another one but had no luck.

Some twenty years later I got fed of it being in pieces so I bought a piece of American Walnut and made one myself.
I did try to get someone to make it for me but no was interested.

I have the box,scope(unused) etc that came with it and it had only fired about a 100 times. The valve still had air in it.
I like a lot!

Hello. It is happening again I’m not sleeping wondering and wishing. I am under a spell of a break barrel HW, and also fixated on the .20….
I need to hear what everyone thinks about the difference in overall performance and experiences of all who have HW50’s and HW95’s in this caliber. I was certainly thinking about a .22 as I absolutely do not appreciate .177, I have a TX200 in .177 and I just am not impressed. I also have owned a Brocock sniper XR in .177 and also did not enjoy shooting it as much as my Impact in .22.

I currently have a HW77 in .22 and I do like it very much but really want a break barrel, and for some reason .20 seams like the perfect caliber for this platform.

Let me know your opinion, I really like .22, is the .20 worth the effort and expense for stocking another caliber of pellet.

Reading through many posts lately about Guys getting fliers with certain .22 cal pellets I was wondering if this is also the case with .25 caliber? Do the .25 cal pellets have fliers as well?

This is a stock Benjamin Marauder Pistol in .22. I didn’t even shoot through one tin of pellets. Purchased for shooting field target and silhouette. Just received another P-Rod custom from Airgun Revisions in .177 specifically tuned for HFT Pistol. I don’t need both so I’m selling this stock .22 version. Asking $325 $250.00 plus shipping with the three mags pictured included. Never had a problem holding air.

Well I was anxious to get my hands on some of the NEW JSB SHALLOW pellets. I picked up a couple tins and both tins had the same base configuration. I have 4 sorted different JSB 25.39 designs to show what I'm talking about.. The first from left to right I will call a modern deep base, those are in the tins I have bought lately.The second is a pre 2019 shallow base. The third is a medium base, I'm not sure exactly when I bought these but I'm thinking around 2020.The forth are the 2024 NEW SHALLOW BASE, they appear to me, like the medium base pellets.
They are NOT SHALLOW, IF you compare them to the original pre 2019 shallow base pellets.
To be fair I haven't shot them how to see how they fly, but they will probably perform like the mid base pellets and not like the shallow pellets...being they look identical.
But my RAW and Daystates shoot the original shallow base better than the others.
Maybe these new ones will surprise me, but they look identical to medium base pellets.

hello everybody,
it's my first post here and it is about my 1st PCP gun, a Snowpeak M60B .35. i have read and heard a lot good things about it, but right out of the box, i have had problems with it. since there was some pressure in the bottle, i was wondering if it is possible to detach the bottle under rest-pressure. unfortunately the manual that came with it is only for the M60, so i had to try to find some info from the www, about how to detach and refill the airbottle. some people claimed that it is the case, and in many places it was also said to not go below a certain level of pressure before refilling. anyway, when carefully unscrewing the bottle, air pressure escaped and destroyed the o-ring (hence, the user name.) on the connection on the side of the gun's action. luckily there is one spare in the package, but if that breaks again, the next time i take the bottle off, i wonder where to get new ones? but, since i am not able to refill the bottle anyway, since the odd bottle adapter, seem to need some special previously unknown 'female' counterpart and not as i had expected and had ready to use on my handpump, a standard foster coupling (which does not work for the bottle fill adapter that cam with the M60B). if you can tell me what kind the threads on the bottle adapter are, is i might be able to find one with an actual foster coupler on the other side. as for now, until someone (and yes, i have also written this to the sellers, without a response yet) helps me finding a suitable solution, the brand new airgun is merely decorative (and hopefully the rest of the seals will not break now, since the gun is unpressurized.)

i know there have been extra parts on the US market, that have a foster fitting on valve of the bottle, so the bottle does not have to be detached for filling anymore, but where can i get these parts in europe? i am also looking for spare magazines for the M60B, in case the only one that came with it breaks.

i'll attach pictures, of the parts, i was talking about and hope to read from you with suitable help. thank you.

FINALLY, I have been going to this permission since last summer with a declining daily total in birds. Not bc there are less but because I was less successful with each run.

Finally figured out that:
1.) I wasn’t concealed enough and walking around a small farm like you see on YouTube wasn’t cutting it. I needed to conceal by simply sitting under trees or getting low to the ground, the birds simply didn’t recognize me as anything and became less spooky.
2.) Wrong time of day. I go late afternoons now right before dark and it’s just one after another trying to come roost. Afternoon has been the best time on any place I have went now and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to mornings.
3.) Positioning. Playing off the first part of being concealed I learned to wear black mostly, you don’t need a ghille suit you just need a low profile. I positioned myself where the birds would be rather than where they are. By this I mean I’d get there and they would be everywhere but rather than chase them around, I’d just go straight to a spot and set up. 30mins later they would be back landing where they felt safest and I’d already be there waiting. This worked so well in fact, the sparrows were landing in the tree I was sitting under with no idea I was there and there’s no leaves on. They simply didn’t recognize me as a threat.

I say all this bc for some of you maybe this is common sense or whatever but for me it was a process. I’ve learned a ton and I’m finally able to make a huge dent in the population at this farm.

Lastly, this is going to seem embarrassing but:
Zero your gun when you GET to the permission. For whatever reason, excitement I guess I wouldn’t do this. It’s so much easier to make one or two click adjustment after 2-3 shots at your zero range, when you get there, versus missing the first 8 birds and MFing your equipment lol. Zero every single time you get there and this will never happen. It’s literally made my hit ratio triple just simply having confidence and making sure I took all mechanical error out.

I’ll end this with a cool once in a lifetime thing that happened. I shot a starling in the top of a maple tree, it fell about 3 ft (dead) and the wing got stuck in a branch. So it sat there about 2 mins and then a giant red tail hawk came in that was over watching the fields and snagged it right out of the tree! I have never saw them do this before so it was cool experience to say the least.

A big boar taken with an Impact M3 .30 with a 44.8 FX pellet at 45 yards 845 fps He had been chasing my grand daughter from the bus stop in the afternoon. So he had to.be dispatched.

I purchased what was shown on the Great North Gun Site as a HW30s. It arrived today but I’m really wondering if it is. It came in a Weihrauch box with a SKU and description as a HW30s (see pics attached) but the gun has no checkering On the grip or forestock. The GNG site has good reviews. Are there any HW30 or HW30s users out there that can help clear up this mystery?

(As written by Tony, Pesty 3782) So this weekend was the Sonoran Desert Grand Prix Field Target competition at Rio Salado. It was a fun two days of shooting, and the Boss Lady, with her red knocked it out of the park!!!!! Barbara hit 90% of the targets over the 2 day competition hitting 44 the first day and 46 the second day. She took home the Gold in Hunter Field Target with her carbine length 177 barrel. She was also able to take Match High Score.

She had an Athlon Ares ETR 15-60X56 and she was shooting the Rangemaster 13.42 pellets.

3 questions on the GX CS4 compressors:

1. Why the 4 rubber feet, on the SIDE of the unit? Are they suppose to run on their side, bottom, or does it matter?
2. Grease is VERY thick. What pulls or push's grease to the bearings? Besides twisting the knob occasionally, is there something mechaniclly pulling or pushing the thick grease? It seems like gravity alone, would not provide enough grease to critical areas that need the lubrication.
3. "GREASE POT"...Exactly what bearings get fed by the grease pot? I assume it feeds 2 different crankshaft bearings. Does it feed any other bearing surfaces?

I’m thinking of selling my Condor SS .25 is there still enough interest out there to bother ?

Found out my dang compact airtube has a microscopic crack. Was trying to fill it and it just would not top off. Felt air but thought it was coming from the nearby tank gauge. Removed the airtube and still felt air. It is about 1 inch from the threaded end. It is a 2021 airtube. Guess I have to buy a new one since this was second hand and probably not warranty-able.

Very good condition wildcat MK3 sniper in .25. Lights out pellet shooter, but I set it up to shoot slugs. Shoots NSA 26.8 in .249 like it was made to!

Regulator at 150 with hammer tuned for max power (large versatility on power settings with a simple twist of the wheel.) Onsetting 4, it shoots the NSA 26.8 around 990FPS. This would be capable of shooting much heavier slugs, I didn’t want to sacrifice the shot count and I’m quite happy with stopping power as it is.

No secrets with FX, but the stock on these feels amazing. Trigger is superb. It’s also a very quiet gun, the sound of a slug impact is far louder than the rifle itself.

There is one small mark on the cheek area, and another small one on the end of the barrel shroud. Both are barely noticeable and it is pretty clean other than that.
