JSB rebranded pellets...the truth.

AGN members, this is Joe of Predator/JSB. First off, the letter that I am posting is from JSB. I asked several people close to Predator to post the letter, too. The signature is Pavel's. The letter was created to dispell what is being said in the airgun world. Now I know this letter will be received differently. It, in no means, is meant to divide airgunners. If you have questions, concerns, or anything just call Predator (303-761-1236), and talk to us.

I ask that you ask not be negative, and just take the letter for what it is. Again, it's only meant to inform.

Sincerely,

Joe Iturralde
Predator/JSB

PCP Rifle  NLA Brocock Bantam (.22 Cal)

An all-around excellent shooter and likes all brands and weights of pellets. Has a Huma-Air regulator on it which really makes each shot very consistent. Beautifully smooth operation, reliable, solid and an absolutely great shooter and what’s nice about this one is that it has an actual smooth finish wooden-stock (vs synthetic that you see on all the other Bantam’s). Holds air with absolutely no leaks or issues of any kind.

Comes with a 10-round magazine, original barrel end muzzle cap, single pellet loader, and a few other parts (scope is not included).

Willing to sell it with or without the DonnyFL Sumo moderator ($850 with, $750 w/o). Shipping is included to CONUS. And if you’re anywhere near to the Nashville, TN area, you’re welcome to come by and check it out.

I’ve been on this forum for about the last 5-6 years, so feel free to check out my feedback and posts. PM me with any questions or interest.

Lipstick on a Pig.

I've always mentioned that in my opinion the Evanix MAX-ML is one of the most ugly Pups out there :

ANMP0011.jpg

Recently I bought some Vinyl car wrapping to do my Dirt bike with, but that never happened so I have quite a bit sitting here and decided to use it as lipstick and see how it works.

Since I got a fair bit of the wrapping I think I might do a couple more guns :)

WHY is P A still advertising NOTOS in Stock Ready to ship

as already stated above , seems to me it's false advertising , miss leading lots of customers ( me being one of them) i had a hard time finding mine back in march, went thru lots of searches & phone calls before getting the last one in in stock at Utaw air, so i feel the frusteration of the people trying to purchase a notos, good luck to everyone trying to purchase one , i am really happy i got mine , i haven't shot anything since (& i have some nice a/g's ) if i miss a blackbird it is my fault or i hit a twig or the danged blk/b is just lucky , plus i dont worry so much if it (notos) gets scratched or nicks, i will never get rid of it..

Barrels  NLA Crown MkII .25/500mm Barrel Kit-Price Reduced $200

This came on a refurbished Crown MkII I purchased from Utah Airguns in Nov. 2022. I decided early on that a .25 wasn't for me and went with a .22. Less than one tin of pellets thru it. Will come with a carbon fiber sleeve I bought but never installed. Comes with everything in the picture. $200 shipped CONUS PP F&F or buyer pays fee. Would consider a trade for FX 480cc bottle with or without valve, plus cash to be worked out

Hand wringing in the UK over whether a 50fpe FAC Brocock Sniper is sufficient for "Foxing"

The video that starts this thread shows the shot at the 29-minute mark. The comments are very illustrative of the differences of opinions between Americans and Brits on the subject. I thought it worth a look and a read.

New hw50

A friend at work started asking about airguns for pesting the garden. I told him I had been planning to order an HW50 from krale. After a day of watching videos, he adked me to add a second to my order. I told him I planned on tuning mine out of the box, and he said to do the same to his.

I finally got a chance to pull his out of the box, debur and install new tinbum tophat and spring guide. It is shooting cpl at right around 765fps. Got shorty forty scope mounted and took it out to sight in.

I was tempted to keep this one in case mine doesn't do as well at 25 yards.

Backyard air range

So I finally got a bunch of that dang yaupon cleared out so that I can get a shooting lane. Built me a frame to hold 3/16"T x 4"W plates to stop pellets. Works like a charm. I knew the bug was bitting me and Air Arms is all fine and stuff but FX Impact heading my way now. Since I cleared yaupon out the rats are coming out, they don't last long when I see them tho. Sure is fun being a growed up kid.

Utah Airguns NAC Youtube Video

Hey Guys,

Utah Airguns here - wanted to share our latest YouTube video with you taking you through the New Hampshire NAC Match a few weeks back. This might help to see some insight whether its curiosity on match flow, what its like, or just solely entertainment. We cover a lot of what equipment is being used as well as what some of our shooters are shooting.

Here is the link for the video:

Let us know what you think!

Is FedEx's service as bad in your area as in mine?

First of all I would like to say that I have to vent about FedEx's delivery system. Most of my airgun related purchases end up being shipped via FedEx.
I don't know why, but they have a terrible record,as far as I'm concerned, in the past 3-4 years.
I'll start off with my latest airgun purchase (purchase of a high end airgun anyway). I bought a dream tact from UA back in October of 21'. Of course I was checking the tracking often because I was anticipating the minute I would receive it. I tracked it from Utah all the way to Memphis and then to Nashville (about 40 miles from my house). I was breathing a sigh of relief because, I just knew it would be at my house just outside of Clarksville, TN by 10:00 the next morning. At around midnight I checked again and the package had just departed Nashville. Hurrah! The next morning I woke and immediately checked to see where it was. They had put it on a truck and shipped it 250 miles east right at the North Carolina border, where it was sitting. Of course I got on the phone to find out what the hell was going on. The guy told me, "Don't worry, it's going to be delivered today. Besides,it wasn't supposed to be delivered until tomorrow, originally."
I broke! "What the hell? You guys are the ones who updated the delivery date." "My package was within 40 miles of my house 9 hours ago. If I'd known you were going to ship it here via North Carolina, I'd have arranged to pick it up in Nashville."
Long story short, I finally received it at around 7 that evening.
That's just one story. It just keeps getting better. I have had 6 different shipments via FedEx since then that have been delayed, lost or stolen,or destroyed and damaged.
What the hell is going on with FedEx?
I have had shipments from Midway USA via UPS that are always on time and when I received my packages, they didn't look like someone had been playing football with them.
I wonder if other people are having these issues with FedEx delivery. Or is it just the service around my area?

Optics  SOLD FFP G2 Aztec Emerald 5-25x56

20230522_163059.jpg
LNIB "new lower price" $490 shipped. I take cash, USPS money order, personal check, and bank transfer. I don't support PP.

I got this about 3 months ago and instead of a MIL version I was sent a MOA version. I was testing it for an evaluation for AOA so it was mounted on a pcp for a week or so. I would have kept it if it was in MIL but....
It works fine, has very good feeling turrets which are far SUPERIOR to the old generation of Aztec scopes, and has a zero stop!!!!!
BTW as far as I know a G2 Aztec isn't listed on AOA's site but I know that this is the newest version which I consider a G2 and is definitely nicer in a few ways than the older scopes.

Just Arrived - Beeman R1 Laser MK1

Just acquired a pristine Beeman R1 Laser MK1 20 cal. Included is a Beeman Blue Ribbon 49R scope and mounts. Photos coming. You just never know exactly what condition an airgun will be in when you purchase one on Ebay. Photos don't always tell the complete story and asking someone how they would grade it is at best a nebulous endeavor. I was very pleasantly surprised when I unboxed it. Looks as though it wasn't even shot. I won't divulge what I paid but let's just say it was a very sweet deal and let it go at that.

Racoon 9mm

Hi guys. I got a Leshiy 2 in 9mm and a thermal scope (AGM Rattler TS25-384) to help deal with Racoons damaging my property. This is my very first time I've ever turned a weapon on an animal and I wouldn't have done it if they didn't keep wrecking my screens trying to get into my sunroom (where there is no food, garbage, etc.).

That said, I didn't really feel bad about it because I heard they can spread deadly diseases and when they decided to leave a huge pile of poo and pee in my sunroom and then proceed to rip my screens, I knew I had to reduce the population.

So I put some food out in my yard and put a camera up and watched on my cell phone. When one came up, I put my crosshair on the spot just behind the shoulder blade (where my research told me to). It was only about 15-20 yards away. Clear shot and I thought impossible to miss.

I used a silencer so it wasn't too noisy. When I fired, I heard the shot hit and the medium-to-big racoon ran down my hill and off into the woods and I heard it running into the woods. I have the Raptor regulator tuned to just under 900 FPS and I used a Diabolo 81 grain 9mm pellet.

I'm shocked the racoon didn't drop. So I went out and searched for a blood trail the next day and I didn't see a single drop of blood. There is no way that pellet didn't pass clean through. They shoot through metal pans, etc. The evening before, to make sure I was ready, I had just shot a small hot potato (for thermal) right where the racoon would be to make sure I'd hit the target. Blew up a small potato (maybe two inches tall and thin).

So I'm wondering. Did I somehow miss the racoon... Or do you guys think it could take that nasty Diabolo shot and then run off into the woods? If so though, I'd expect a trail of blood. :eek:/

I guess I'll try again later but a bit disappointing for my first time hunting. I'm a bit stressed what if I shot too low and wounded it and it's suffering somewhere (although still I'd expect to see blood).

What are your experiences with racoons?
