Wishing you well. I would like to remove the tank only from my Kratos, to slip a bottle brush in to it and maybe coat the outside.

I’m not really sure how this is done, and don’t want to remove more than necessary.

Could someone please tell me how to remove the tank properly?

My Daisy 851 was leaking so I bought a rebuild kit for the 853. everything looked pretty much the same but now after reassembling it, the first shot is quite weak, but if I cock it again (not repump) then it will shoot again a lot more strongly, and sometimes it will even do this a third time on the same pump. I have not tried a bb or pellet in there because I'm afraid that first shot might be too weak to shoot it out. IT's supposed to release all it's air on the first shot so this is really weird. what have I done wrong?

Anyone using fx impact m3 for coyotes? What pellets do you use?

On the fence over here and I’d like some input from the group. I’m looking at the Benjamin Bulldog .357 and the newly introduced Skout Epoch compact (would opt for .30 cal). I have a newer Hatsan 95 Springer in .22 and it's velocity is well below spec. I'm getting 659 - 680 fps with 14.3 HP. Hatsan lists it at 800 fps and others are reporting 780 - 830 fps with the same ammo. I let it go past the warranty period since I didn't have a chrony until recently. Any suggestions on what I can check to find out the problem? Thank you

I have been tinkering with my Ghost, swapped springs out for the White spring and then Blue spring, and testing different reg pressures and now it is only able to achieve ~620 FPS with the following configuration.

BRK Ghost .22 HP
23" barrel
Red Hammer Spring
Tank ~190 BAR
Reg ~165 BAR
PW Max
JSB Exact RS Diablo 13.43 gr.
FPS = 622 (highest)

When it first arrived it was cranking the JSB Hades 15.89 gr pellets at close to 1030 FPS with the following configuration:

BRK Ghost .22 HP
23" barrel
Red Hammer Spring
Tank ~190 BAR
Reg ~150 BAR
PW Min
JSB Exact RS Diablo 15.89 gr.
FPS = 1030

I am charging it from a Yong Heng compressor with this secondary water/oil separator in line between the compressor and the gun.


I should also mention that when degassing the gun it is taking 15+ shots with the PW on MAX setting before the reg pressure drops below 50 BAR, not sure if this is relevant, but from my limited experience/knowledge it seems to indicate that perhaps the valve is not opening fully?

Any thoughts or suggestions on what might cause this behavior?

i have a problem with my FX V2 chronograph. When I use it with my underlever rifles I place it on top of the barrel and now it will record 2 to 5 shots and no more. It just started doing this and when I use it with break barrel rifles it works fine. Has anyone else had this problem? JimmyV

I love the app, however, a more current list of airgun projectiles is badly needed. Many of the manufacturers lists are missing calibers, a few manufactures of very popular pellets and slugs are missing, while others are simply missing some of their offerings, some are missing entire caliber lines.. are there any talks of updating the database or other features in the app itself?

Is there a quicker method?

Hello everyone. I'm new to airgun nation and looking for help regarding a Webley Tempest. At some point in it's life a long time ago, I accidentally pulled the trigger when the gun was half cocked resulting in the the barrel slamming shut. Since then, the gun will half cock, but the barrel will not close (return to normal). The only way to get it to close is to pull the trigger while holding the barrel and slowly let it go down. Does anyone have any idea of what happened and how I can fix it? Thanks, Merlin -

I need a very pressing question answering, which I know my fellow airgunners will have an answer too.

The HW80/HW80k. A staple example of a springer!... But... has the performance changed at all over the years? Is it still the same internally as it was 20 years ago, or has it been dampened down at all. The new HW80k luxus looks cracking. But, I'm unsure whether to go for an earlier model as I want the magic that has given this gun somewhat of an external glory. That said, if the inner workings are the same across all generations, I shall go for the new versions as I do prefer the look.

Just out of sheer curiosity, I've been toying with the idea. Now stay with me. I will make it as concise as possible.

Assuming there was no legal limits to the power a spring piston rifle could produce AKA the American market, what differences to the internals of the gun are altered to restrict for the UK market. I'm under no illusion that, ofcouse, the main spring will be weaker, but what about the piston stroke? Or the cylinder diameter/air volume or TP? If you disassembled hw95k, one bought in UK and the other bought in USA what differences would you find internally. One produces 17ft lb(usa) and the other sub 12(uk).

Do sub 12 guns even have the capacity from a piston stroke, TP, cylinder volume stand point, to ever achieve that of an identical American verson in principle? It's certainly not the case to just put a larger spring in or wack half an inch of spacers in as the gun just goes coil bound and you are unable to cock the rifle. So there must be other powers at play.

First of all, thank you for adding me to this forum. As a new member, I would like to ask you all for some advice.
I bought a Umarex AirSaber a few months ago, and haven't used it since then because I was looking for a convenient air pump. But now that I found one, when I try to pump air in the appropriate compartment, for some reason the air comes out from the tube where we are supposed to insert the arrow.
I would like to know if this is caused by a manufacturing problem or a manipulation error from me ?
