DonnyFL Ronin Moderator test 2, muzzle dB

This review and testing video of DonnyFL Ronin moderator for a second time. How does it fair up when you are testing the muzzle dB reading. I decided to test it out in the name of science and got pretty intresting results. I really do like the moderator and it is one of the most quietest ones.

DB readings were as follows:
Control group:
82,4db
82,1db
82,1db
80,2db
82,1db
avg = 81,78db

DonnyFL Ronin:
80,7db
80,1db
79,9db
80,1db
79,9db
avg = 80,18db

FX  M4 .177 issues ahhhh!!

You got .30 pellets now in the .07s for BC. I wouldn't compare hybrids as they aren't very good BC wise. NSA .30 43gr are .105 BC. Gotta shoot a 33gr slug in .22 to compare BC wise. Very light .30 slug to quite heavy .22 slug.

.177 slugs the 20.5gr NSAs are only .075 BC. Only gain .005 from 12.5gr to 20.5gr.

Air Venturi  Avenge-x Classic

I have a quick bit of advice if you are going to be tuning your new rifle. Get a binder or a tablet just for this rifle and keep very detailed notes. Make note of the factory settings and then keep clear detailed notes of all your changes and chronograph results. It is so very helpful to have that info to look back on when tuning and making changes In the future.
Kenny
Great advise- I do have a notebook for each of my rifles, and I will be keeping detailed notes on everything- going to take my time- have several different weights and brands of ammo going to try it all out- thanks for the advise- getting setup outside now- will update in a few days.

FX  FX impact with little shot power

PS. Big HUNN if you need any help in your new dangerous reloading f world, I have some real big hitters that do all my reloading. With all the machine & customizing work on firearms I do for gun clients I just don't have time for it. These guys really know there stuff. Just let me know otherwise ill leave you to it yourself ! thx again my friend

Evanix  Evanix Viper X -Besides Reviewers, Who’s Shooting One?

Yup.

I try to use modular mods so I can choose my audible poison. In this case though, hard to find a .30 or .35 mod that uses M18x1 threads.

If you have any ideas about where to find one, happy to hear

Turns out it wasn’t M18 threads… 1/2UNF standard. I bought a 0DB and it’s nicely quiet.

HW/Weihrauch  Weihrauch or Beeman

Well guys...thank you for all of your input. Yesterday I ran across an auction for a Beeman R1. On a whim, I submitted a bid, Last night I found out that I won the bid. So I guess I'll be shooting an R1- for better or worse.
It's a .177 so I still may be in the hunt for a .22 at some point.
The R1 is the same rifle as the HW80 and HW80's are still in production, which is good for you when it comes to parts availability.

HW/Weihrauch  HW30S restoration

Lovely pair of NOS HW30S! Great find! They're lovely guns to shoot. Mine is a few months older than those: #461814. Pre-safety Weihrauchs are great!
Of the 3 Mike and I bought, the serial number spread was something like 218. They were produced within days of each other.
