I kept saying no... now im saying notos

Welcome to the party Dairyboy
Yeah happy to join. Glad they came in stock.

Hope you get a good one... have there been any bad ones? Sure don't see them in the classifieds
I'm hoping so too. I havent found anything really negative about them at all which is crazy. My main uses will be under 25yds so if it can shoot anything like yours I can't beat that

Looking forward to your impressions… it should supplement the Mini nicely.

Yeah we'll see Luis. It's got alot to live up to being compared to my rifle that literally costs roughly 10 times more when new. Been spoiled only shooting that the last year. But again 25 and in airgun doesn't need to be a laser. It can be decent and do the job.

Having a ton of fun with my Notos.... Looking for a simple light/medium duty sling to throw it on the shoulder, trail walking. Not sure of intended way to mount or type to look for. The butt has what appears to be some swivel QD holes and there's some slots on the pistol grip handle; appreciate any feedback.
Might look at a single point sling. I use one on a Tippmann PB .22 pistol, and it's pretty good for carrying.
Or possibly run some cable ties through the pistol grip. Run a sling through the ties for the front attachment point, and use a QD for the rear on the stock. My $0.02.

We know there’s no comparison to the Mini… still interested in your thoughts on the Notos, through use…

Mine came today put a little Burris Fastfire 3 on it and hitting a little ram target that came with gun at 32 yds every time.. Whoever said these guns are not as quiet as they thought have to be super picky or nitpicking because its about as quiet as you can get.. hear pellet smacking target mostly. It even sounds super quiet in my basement.

I cut that stupid 'bag rider' off and bored out the moderator housing to 1", got a friend to print me an 8" long moderator that reduces the dB to 63!

Comes up SUPER quick and is my go-to for sub 30y pesting.

I wonder if they upgraded the baffles from the 1st to 2nd batch? It's seriously the most quiet gun I own, and I have a koi on my 25 @ 50fpe, a tanto on my 22 scorpion @ 32fpe, and my 25 cal shrouded carbine with 6 baffles and a nice air stripper @ 38 fpe. The 38 fpe gun is next quietest gun, and it now seems loud.

The action is very quiet on the notos as well, no ping at all, just a puff.

The only thing that keeps me from buying one is not having a folding stock like my P-Rod or a QD stock like the Jet. I need it to fit inside a backpack without having to undo a bunch of screws. It looks like it uses a standard AR-15 buffer tube. If it does, then a $19 folding stock adapter should do the trick.

Is buying direct the only way to get a CARM mag? It sounds like they are a requirement for best accuracy, or is there a hack to fix the factory mag so it doesn't deform pellets?

Love it. This is the best ad for the Notos yet, Dr K. Umarex should send you a hammer for your help. That would certainly make a mess of your starlings.
I'm having trouble putting it down. It's so comfortable and balanced, I can sit with it in one hand forever. Hold it up one handed and use it to scan real quick.

Only thing I would change is the 2nd stage break weight on the trigger. But it's predictable enough to give me the groups I'm getting so I'm not tinkering on this one.

If Umarex wants to send me another notos to tinker on, I would be much obliged!

trigger is pretty good once adjusted,
but a lighter weight spring in the trigger will decrease the pull weight.

if you havent already,
turn in the screw in the trigger till the first stage wont reset on its own,
back it out till it resets,
then back it out a hair more and youre done.
